1. meeting the ex's

daisy and i had just left our apartment in studio city to go grab a coffee then head to brandy melville for coachella shopping. march had brought LA nice breezy day after a few days of rain, so we had decided to head out. our other roommate, jess, had gone back to staten island for a family event.
we ordered their drinks from a local cafe and were walking towards the clothes store. i had just pulled out my phone and was looking at a text from a random number when i got hit by something hard and fast. my coffee dropped all over me and the floor, and when i looked at my outfit i saw i was covered in something bright orange - paint?! i sighed and looked at daisy - we both had heard of one person who loved paintballs and that was david dobrik. i wasn't surprised as i knew he lived in studio city as well, but it was weird as he never normally brought the guns out. and yes, daisy and i watch the vlogs when we're bored. i looked up and turned to see who was involved. i saw david holding his camera, jason nash who i'm guessing was also just shot judging from the look on his face, and - oh no. no no no. anyone but him.
it was jeff wittek. he was also my ex.
*jeff's pov*
david had come up with this stupid plan for me and him to track down jason within studio city and shoot him with a paintball gun. i mean, i did get $100 out of it but i looked like a maniac to passers-by. we had just found jason and i had just pressed the trigger to shoot him from about 10m behind when he stood up and moved, so the bullet missed and hit a stranger behind him. however i had also fired a second bullet and it hit him right in the back. i jumped up and yelled, but david grabbed me and pulled me towards jason. i got confused before i realised i had hit someone so i looked up and ran before i saw who i hit. i stopped dead about 3 metres in front of them. i saw david run up to her and apologise straight to the girl. she was talking with him and laughing. i shook my head in disbelief. there was no way.
it was alyssa thomas. an ex, and the one i missed the most.
