11. the past

"hi guys it's jeff here with alyssa. this is gonna be a different vid compared my usual ones. so we both just woke up it's about 12pm - yes alyssa stayed at mine get over it. anyway erm so my phone was blowing up more than usual so i thought it was just the posts we put on instagram but turns out some very private things from my icloud have been leaked. so today, alyssa and i will be talking to you about our past and explaining the photos and comments." jeff nods at alyssa to continue, so she does.
"so i moved from london to staten island when i was in year 2 - or 1st grade. this was about 13 years ago maybe, and jeff was my neighbour. he helped me settle into american school life even though he was - what were you, 5th grade?" she asks him. he nods.
"yeah so for that year he was still in elementary with me he would walk with me and my mom to school. then we would walk together towards my school and he would cut down the road to the middle school. then when i joined middle school i walked with him, and the same in high school. we also met up on the way home which was nice. anyway so we were super close, along with one of my friends ellie and one of jeff's friends cody." alyssa continues, and now jeff is holding her hand gently as he knows where the story is headed.
"so when i was a freshman in high school, jeff had just graduated. i don't know what we were thinking but we decided that we wanted to date. i mean to be honest we were already kind of dating since i was like 14 because we were intimate in a way but we decided we wanted to be 'official' or whatever. it was weird and we were so young. well mostly me ahahaha." jeff cuts in.
"i know what everyone is going to say - oh my god jeff got with a minor etc. etc. her mom knew about our relationship and was fine with it, if she wasn't fine with it then i definitely would not have gone through with the relationship. i would say alyssa was very mature for her age, like our relationship was very serious." alyssa nodded.
"my mom definitely was good with it because she had trusted jeff and she saw i was so happy with him so she let it. unfortunately it is at this point things turn south." jeff swallows and takes over again.
"i was getting into drugs and alcohol at this point. our neighbourhood in staten island was really bad at this time i would say, so a trouble maker like my younger self couldn't resist using the stupid stuff and it got out of hand. i would definitely say i had an addiction to drugs and drinks. so at this point alyssa and i had been officially together for about a year maybe so she was now a sophomore. i decided that i wanted to move to miami with some friends. but none of us had the money so we had to wait it out and find some money. eventually alyssa called it quits because she couldn't handle seeing me high and drunk all the time and she blocked me on everything except my number bc she kinda hoped i would grow a pair and call her and apologise. but i didn't, my dumb ass went to miami where i did way more drugs, like serious drugs. i even got arrested 7 times but 3 of which i went to prison. the 3rd time i was in prison i decided i needed to sort myself out because i did not want to be back in there, so when i got out i tried so hard to contact alyssa but obviously she had blocked me. i think at this point i has been in miami for about 18 months - 3 prison stays in 18 months, mad right? anyway i couldn't get hold of her and i was too afraid to turn up to my parents house so i took the last of my money i had from dealing and moved over to LA. i got into my relationship with cierra and you guys know the rest." jeff eyes alyssa when mentioning cierra but she didn't react. he licked his lips and drank some water as she continued her side.
"so basically i didn't realise jeff had actually left until about 2 weeks later, simply because i was avoiding him originally anyway. i had seen his mom in the store and i asked how jeff was and then she told me he moved out. i was so angry and upset that two weeks later i threw my phone into the east river upstate. but yeah so that's our story."
"you guys can stop saying now that alyssa is using me or david or anyone else for clout, and the same with daisy. she has been my best friend for more than ten years. of course, daisy is alyssa's friend and we trust daisy enough to know she doesn't use us for fame or whatever you guys call it."
"yeah and i also actually became friends with david when i first moved here - he can agree we met at a shoot we did in the same studio but for different covers."
"wait what? i thought you only met dave when we did the skit?"
"i don't really like saying i met david in this shoot we did because it went horribly wrong for me and david has to witness it, the whole thing was shut down. i can't believe i'm even saying this on the internet." jeff shrugged off the confusion and moved on.
"okay so now we spoke about our relationship and how we know each other let's move on to those photos. yes those photos are from my icloud. every single one. which means you can guess who the girl is. those photos were taken to capture memories because we were in love. as we said the relationship was very serious."
"you know what jeff, i'm very tempted to remake some of those photos and post it just so you supposed 'fans' cant keep making leaks." alyssa huffed out, leaning into him.
"and yes, i did get jeff's name tattooed into my lip." she brought her lower lip down and moved towards the camera to show a faded 'jeff' tattooed before the settled back onto the chair.
"also with all the weed and cocaine those were all taken in miami. to be honest i thought i lost those photos, so thanks? i'm not sure how i feel."
"oh and before i forget, yes i smoked weed a few times. don't act like you don't smoke weed at the age of 17." alyssa sneered at the camera. "anyway the last topic for this video is mine and jeff's current situation. since we did only reunite sometime last week, we are taking it slow again. we both have made up, i have forgiven him because i decided it is best to move on and not dwell in the past. he was a dickhead, for sure, but right now? he probably isn't if he's gotten this far in life. i will say now i am extremely proud of how far he has come since he left me in staten island. not many can say they went to prison and then turned their life around to become a near-millionaire." alyssa smiled up at him happily. jeff returned the smile before looking at the camera.
"as alyssa said, we are taking it slow. we were both literally each others first love. we don't exactly know what is going on between us right now but we are definitely best friends again. from there we're taking it bit by bit to see if we still have that bond between us but it could take some time. please do not start to create any more weird assumptions or whatever. please respect mine and alyssa's privacy as well as anyone else's really. also no hate, i won't tolerate it."
"hugs and kisses to everyone who is supporting us still after this, we both love you!"
"thanks for washin' guys, bye!" alyssa and jeff wave before he leans to kiss her cheek. the clip cuts off just before he lands the kiss to his outro, a black screen with 'thanks for washin' typed.

>jeff wittek✔️: i did my time in jail for the illegal drugs i literally said that. yes i understand the child porno part and the underage part. even though alyssa had taken some of them and i had consent everytime i understand it was wrong but we were young and stupid. but don't act like you don't or haven't done these same things. i'm not judging you but if you have done them then you have no right to judge me.
