Keith looked at Jack horrified. Sure, he saved the guy but there's no telling if he wouldn't bury an icicle in his back.

Jack backed up, his expression was confused and scared. He pulled his hand away and sharp icicles erupted from the floor.

Keith felt his stomach turning into goo when he saw that Jack was looking at him, he waited for it, to feel the hot ice impale him. But instead Jack offered him his hand, and Keith took it.

The nurse screamed, seeing Cleve's dead body sprawled on the floor.

Jack's fist curled into a ball and frost appeared in his fists.

Just in a blink of an eye, Keith could see three lifeless bodies sprawled in front of him.

The alarm went off and they could hear footsteps running at their direction.

"We need to get out of here!" Keith said to him.

Jack nodded and followed Keith out of the room. In every hallway they spotted dozens of guards scattered all over the company.

"Stop!" one of the guards shouted them, spotting them near the elevator.

Jack stretched out his hand, and blasted the guard to the other side of the floor.

He looked at his smoking hand with curiosity and terror.

Keith pulled him away, just in time when other company guards headed their direction.

They ran straight for the stairs, hopefully they can make it out by going to the parking area at the bottom floor of the building.

The stairwell entrance was at the other hallway, two hallways from where Keith and Jack stand. And it looked like they only have a couple of minutes before they put the entire floor on total lockdown.

They headed forward and blindly turned right, but they were not so lucky seeing a dead end.

More company guards found them and cornered them like prey ready for the kill.

They advanced, rifles pointed towards us. Their gas masks and helmets indicated that this will not be a quick kill.

They need Jack alive.

Keith and Jack backed up against the wall, not sure of what are they going to do.

"Um, I don't mean to sound rude or anything" I said under my breath. "But now would be a good time to freeze someone?".

"I'm trying" Jack said, flicking his wrists. "It won't work".

Keith could see his own death coming. Now would be a really great time for freaky ice powers.

Then it clicked to him.

The guards was just about to open fire, when Keith dug out a small flask from his pocket and hurled it to the advancing attackers.

One bullet hit the flask and an icy blue liquid erupted, and as soon as the liquid made contact with something solid, it exploded into a volley of large icicles, erupting from everyone that the liquid caught.

Moments later Keith and Jack found themselves in front of probably the worst ice massacre they have ever seen.

They ran across the hallway of dead company guards and headed for the stairwell.

They reached the door, and began their descent.

"Thanks!" Jack said to Keith.

"S'okay, just save your energy. We don't know when we will need that ice thing of yours" Keith said.

They reached the bottom gasping for air, sweat covered Keith's face..Except for Jack who was emitting an cold aura.

They ran through the exit and made it to the parking lot.

But they only found more guards and one person Keith didn't expect to see.

"Dad?" Keith said, his voice was full of surprise, shock, and disappointment.
