"i heard your good at protecting people" mrs. kim told you . you slightly nodded as she was right that was your job and that was what you worked for.
"you are a detective" she added as she looked over at her husband. you nodded again.
"if you say so, yes" you told them knowing where it was going to go off too."our son... he needs protection" mr.kim told you
"well pay as much as you want! as long as you protect our son"mrs.kim told you . you could tell she was worried. you looked at them.
"why does he need protection?" you asked them wondering why they would get you to do it.
"we own a company... a big one , as many people know we have rivals. they'll anything to get to the top. we get threats... our son doesn't know about it, he's clueless" mrs.kim explained to you as mr.kim only nodded
"i see..." you told them as you thought for a while making them look at you concerned if you were gonna do it or not
"will you do it?" mr.kim asked you as mrs.kim looked at you

"youngkyun, this is y/n" mrs.kim introduced you to the boy in front of you. he looked at you and then at his mom
"its hwiyoung remember?" he spoke up. you stared at him. so his a spoiled type of you thought to yourself.
"yes honey i know" mrs.kim said as she slightly nodded. you stood there as you watched them. mrs.kim turned to you as she noticed he looked back at you with a confused expression.
"ohh right , this is y/n" mrs.kim told him as she slightly patted your shoulder as she introduced you to him. he still had a confused expression but before he could say anything mrs.kim continued
"shes gonna be around you a lot" she told him as she patted your shoulder again. "why? its not like shes my friend or anything" hwiyoung said
you looked at him. mrs.kim sighed as she let go of you and slightly looked down. "shes gonna protect you" she told him. he slightly laughed as he looked back at you and mrs.kim
"protect me? from what?! there's nothing for her to protect me from" he told his mom . you looked over at mrs.kim as she grabbed his hand.
"hwiyoung-ah your in danger... you need someone , shes gonna protect you" mrs.kim told him as she slightly rubbed his hand. it made you envy him , he had a caring mother. something that you didnt have.
"how?--" hwiyoung began to say but got interrupted by his mother "might as well get to know each other... see you later y/n" mrs.kim said as she let go of his hand and turned to you and smiled a bit as she began to leave the room. only to leave you there in a awkward silence with hwiyoung.
