This is a bit of a short chapter but i feel like i ended it on a good note. I hope you all enjoy and are safe in this time of crisist!

It's been a month since I've moved here and so far my friendship group consists of Lily, Lizy, Stephane, Jaz (she was absent on the day I met everyone), Josh, Noah, Grace and myself.

Grace is actually dating Noah. They've been dating since the end of last year, not gonna lie they are really cute together.

The most annoying part about coming to school everyday is Leo.

He constantly continues to annoy me with the littlest things, it started with pen clicking, then throwing things at the back of my head in class to get my attention. Not only this but for the last week he keeps on asking me out. Like on a date. I know that he's clearly not serious and he's doing it to get in my head, and maybe in my pants. But let me make this clear, this will not happen. I have rejected him about five times now and will continue to do that till the day I die, I doubt it will last that long tho.

I told Grace about it and she told me to go for it because Leo has never tried this hard for a girl. That she thinks he really likes me, huh, she knows nothing.

I walk into math class and sit in my usual spot. Leo comes up and sits next to me, again. Cue eye roll.

"So I was thinking maybe we could see a movie." He states as he takes a seat.

"No thanks."

"What about go karting?"

"I said no!" I snap. This is getting so annoying.

"Come on Bailey, I'm trying so hard. I really like you."

"Ugh." I scoff, "stop lying, we all know what your goal is."

"And what do you think that is?"

"You want to use me, hopefully get something out of it, just know this, you will never get to me and I will never sleep with you." Maybe I was a bit harsh, but what else was I supposed to do? Let him think he can mess with me? No way.

"Well I'm not going to stop trying." He says and turns to the front as the Math teacher, Mrs Stacy, comes in and tells us to open up our textbook.

I know that I don't need math to become an author but I need a back up plan, and although I don't like math i'm surprisingly good at it..

I can't wait till I graduate high school and become an independent person. I won't have to listen to anyone but myself.

"Hey Bailey!" Grace yells to catch my attention before I start making my way home.

My mum would usually pick me up but I want to catch the bus home today because I want to stop by the bakery to get something to eat.

"Yeah?"

"There's a party tonight and you have to come."

"No thanks."

"Why not?"

"I'm tired." I lie.

"Bullshit! Tell me the real reason!" She demands.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I deny.

"Spit it out!"

"Fine, I've never been to a party before and I'm noy interested in going now." I tell her.

"Well they're fun and you're going to be going with me so you'll be fine."

"I don't really feel like it, I'd prefer to read my book, it's getting really good."
