Chapter Six: Bad News

I'm back yet again with another chapter. Are you all ready for some bad news? Don't worry i don't have any but i can't say that for Isla! Enjoy

I'm sitting at home on a Friday night doing my homework instead of going out with my friends. Not that i really do that anyway.

Last week when I got home after the date my mum was extremely mad at me for the whole phone call and not coming home the next day. I had caused my sister to go home before I even got back because she was mad at me too. My sister said that she really wanted me to come home so she could spend time with me and that I should get over myself, that family is more important. That's what she told me in the letter that she left on my bed. If I'm being honest I'm really angry at her, she is the biggest hypocrite. She always went out to parties and got drunk and slept with random guys. I didn't even do any of that, I didn't even have a drink.

Anyway so I'm grounded for a week which is nearly over. Mum didn't ground me for long at all so my guess is that she knows that she was in the wrong but didn't want to admit it.

I get out my phone to text Leo, Leo and I are now dating which is amazing. I really like him and he is the sweetest person, he always walks me to class and opens doors for me. Sometimes he even carries my stuff. He is the best.

Me: Hey! What are you up to?❤️

Lee❤️: Wishing you were here with me.

Me: I wish I was with you too but sadly I am grounded until Monday.

Lee❤️: Well then after your grounding has expired I have to take you out on the other date that I promised.

Me: I can't wait, what did you have in mind?

Lee❤️: You will have to wait and see, it's going to be a surprise.

I hate surprises

Lee❤️: I know and you're going to have to deal with it because i love them.

Me: You're so annoying.

Lee❤️: Don't worry you will love it.

Me: Ok i trust you, i got to go, I'll give you a call tomorrow,

Lee❤️: I'll be waiting

Me: Ok bye xx

Lee❤️: bye xx

I know It's soon but I really like him, I've never felt like this with anyone before and I'm glad that I went on our date.

I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I yell out.

My mum enters the room and I can instantly tell that something is off, she has a weird look on her face. Wait, that weird look she has is familiar, it's the look that she has when she has bad news. Bad news that she knows I won't like.

"What is it mum I know that look?" I ask, getting a bit nervous.

"Ok, please don't react badly." She tells me. What the hell is she going to tell me?

I can see her biting the inside of her lip. She is extremely nervous, it can't be that bad, can it?.

"Ok, um, your father is coming to visit us this week, he gets here on Monday." She finally spills the news. This is bad news.

"Hell no!" I yell. "There is no way he is coming. I will not allow this to happen. I don't care how mum, but you're not letting him come!" This is worse than bad news.

"Isla I've tried, he refuses to take no for an answer, he said that If i don't let him see you he will take me to court."

"Let him mum, there is no way in hell he would win and you know that."
