Chapter 3 Celestial Locator and The Betrayer's Lair

Smaus Aran POV

As I yawned, I saw the Doom Slayer was back.

The Doom Slayer: Awake already?

Samus Aran: Yeah, back so soon.

I was in my Zero suit. After I put my suit back on he turned to me.

Samus Aran: So, how'd it go.

The Doom Slayer: If you call decapitation good then it went great. We are going to go to a place called Exultia to find something to locate the other Hell Priest, but before we go I need to do something real quick. Be right back.

When he came back he was wearing a different suit with his biceps showing and a blade attached to the left arm and what looked like a Grenade launcher, a Flame belch and an Ice grenade launcher on his left sholder.

Samus Aran: By the way, I found you Marine suit in this Fortress, Sand some strnage helmet and gun on you self and a lot of pictures of other people. Are they your Family?

The Doom Slayer: Let's just stick to the mission for now. I'll tell you everything after we take care of the Hell situation.

Samus Aran: Sorry if that was too personal. I didn't know because you don't really talk much.

He simply opened a portal and we walked through to be greeted by destroyed Temples.

Samus Aran: This is Exultia. Strange name.

He didn't respond and started moving further.

We were going from area to area, from Temple to Temple killing demons until we came to a big room with a huge chair. The Doom Slayer went to the middle of the room and a green light on his suit flashed blue and a circle on the ground opened to revile a big golden ball. I went to pick it up

Samus Aran: Here.

I said as I gave it to him. Then a strange figure with what looked like a crown on his head appeared on the chair and started to talk to us, but mostly to the slayer. As the Slayer saw him, he started to kneel. I was surprised by this because the Doom Slayer has not shown so much respect to anyone up to this point. Of course he respects me as a comrade and a worrior. So, I knelt as well next to the Doom Slayer as this figure spoke.

King Novik: You cannot kill the Priests. You know our laws-despite their transgressions against the covenant they are still of Sentinel blood. What you interfere with now is bigger than you can imagine. It is written, it is their time to give penance-if you continue you will bring dawn the Heaven's wrath.

When he said that, the Slayer got up and headed for the door, so I followed him.

King Novik: You are but one man-they are no longer you people to save!

And as he said that, the Doom Slayer turned around to look at him and I looked back there as well, but there was no one. We then left through the portal.

TIME SKIP

As the Slayer was setting a location for the portal, I was asking him some questions.

Samus Aran: So, who was that guy on that chair? I'm guessing that he was the King of that place.

The Doom Slayer: That was King Novik.

Samus Aran: Oh, ok. Where are we going now always?

The Doom Slayer: Going to meet an old friend. But before we go, I need to get something.

He left and then came back with a strange gun.

Samus Aran: What king of gun is that?

The Doom Slayer: The Ballista. Let's move.

We went thought the portal and arrived in the place I least wanted to go to, Hell.

Samus Aran: Did we have to come to Hell.

He simply nodded. After a lot of killing and Hell Puzzles later we arrived in a room, there was another person there. Vega showed me that his name was Valen. His suit was slightly similar to the Doom Slayer's.

Valen: I told you all to leave me here; I am where I belong...

Then the Slayer placed the big golden ball in front of him. HE took it and started to talk.

Valen: Saving your people will not bring you peace; only make the burden you carry worse. And now you seek to defy the Khan Maykr herself?

Then he came back with the ball, but it was now glowing blue. The Doom Slayer tried to take it but he held onto it and said.

Valen: It is you people's time to give penance...Just as it was mine.

Then the Slayer took if rom his hand. As we were walking away, he started to talk again.

Valen: Hear me, Slayer.

Then we turned to him.

Valen: When his heart is laid to rest, then his oul will be at peace... and so will mine.

And then he threw something which looked like the hilt of a knife.

And with that we left. When we got back, the Doom Slayer placed the ball in the middle of something that went down and closed.

Samus Aran: So, that a celestial locator.

Vega: the second Hell Priest is located.
