You lazily rest your head in your palm.
You didn't get any sleep because of Daisuke last night.
Well, the phone incident to be exact.
Your eyes close and you lean forward, resting your head on something hard, but comfortable.
"Using my shoulder as a pillow, Y/N?"
Your eyes open and you look up to see Lux, looking back down at you.
"If you don't mind."
Lux chuckles and turns his attention back to the teacher.
A while after, Lux wakes you up to tell you class was over.
"What'd I miss?" You ask, stretching your arms.
"Fractions and square roots."
You sigh.
"That's alright, I'll help you."
You smile and thank him, the two of you walking off to your lockers.
"Why is he so sweet?!"
You open your locker and put your things inside, before taking out your books for the next class.
"Y/N! Y/N!"
"Huh?"
You turn to see Kaio running towards you.
"Kaio! Why didn't you show up for first period?"
"That doesn't matter, right now! What matters is that I finally got a lead on my friend!"
"I stayed out late last night, even though my mom took my phone away for it, but it was worth it!"
He digs into his schoolbag, and takes out a wallet.
Your eyes widen.
"His stuff is still inside, too!"
"I'm just so happy, Y/N!"
Kaio jumps up and down, several kids glancing in your area.
"Ok, Kaio. I think it's time to calm down." You embarrassingly say.
"I'm sorry! I'm just happy that I'll be able to find my friend! And maybe even catch the bastard who abducted him and many others, too!"
You nod.
"No matter what, Kaio refuses to believe his friend is dead, although it's a high possibility." You say to yourself.
"I'll catch you at lunch, Y/N! Bye!"
He waves and runs off.
You shut your locker and continue onto your next class.
You enter, kids loudly chatting.
You take your seat, Lux sitting next to you.
"Apparently we have a sub today."
You smile in delight.
"Good. I highly dislike history."
The door opens and the sub walks in, kids immediately taking their seats.
The person takes off his coat, and places it on the rack, before turning around.
That's when your jaw drops.
"Hey, isn't that your brother?" Lux asks.
"Huh- Oh yeah. He didn't even tell me anything about how he was going to fill in today." You reply.
You look around, girls whispering to each other about how cute Daisuke is.
"Why is he here?!" You ask yourself.
"Good morning, class. I prefer you all call me Mr. Daisuke. I will be your substitute teacher for today."
"I'm pretty sure most of you know my little sister, Y/N, as well."
Everyone turns to you and you look straight ahead at Daisuke, giving him a death stare.
He smirks and you look down at your desk.
"I also have one more thing I'd like to address."
He pulls out a piece of paper.
"Your teacher left me a seating arrangement chart for today. When I call your name, I'll guide you to your new seat only for today." Daisuke says.

You stare at Daisuke from your desk.
You sat right in front of him and Lux sat all the way into the back.
"Bro, can I speak to you outside?"
You ask, trying your best to sound normal as possible.
"No, I'm watching a class."
This pissed you off a bit.
He knew damn well he lied about being your brother and then refused to talk to his "little sister", outside.
"I can watch the class."
The whole class, including Daisuke turns to Lux.
"I mean, if you don't mind."
"Thank you, but no. Y/N can wait to talk to me after class."
Lux nods and goes back to doing his work.
You continue to do your own work, giving Daisuke a death glare every 5 minutes, until the bell rang.
You watched as everyone exited, some girls staying behind to get Daisuke's number.
He happily gives it out and they thank him, before exiting the class as well.
Once the last girl left, you immediately shut the door.
"Don't you have another class right now?"
You shake your head.
"First last night, and then today?! Are you trying to ruin my life?!"
"I'm trying to help you, that's what I'm trying to do."
"You could be helping me by watching the surveillance footage we talked about yesterday." You reply.
"I have people on that."
"Then go home and watch T.V. or something. I'm fine without you trailing me!"
"I'M NOT TRAILING YOU!"
You jump back, as Daisuke sits back down and chuckles.
"Got you."
You sigh and laugh.
"You're right. I guess I shouldn't complain. You're only looking out for me."
You look at the clock.
"See you around."
You walk out of the class and towards the cafeteria to meet up with Lux and Kaio.
