Stay Healthy, Stay Safe

3rd Person POV
Beam and Forth had arranged a meeting of their parents. Together. All four old people were too busy with their schedules, so when the other three had time the fourth one was busy. It was a very tough task for Forth and Beam to fix this meeting. And finally after two months of effort the parents got the free time to meet their sons.

Pete and Kao arrive first. Beam hugs his fathers. He invites them inside, introduces Forth to them. Forth bows with his hands joined together to pay respect to them.

"Welcome... Uncle." Forth welcomed Pete and Kao but is cut by Pete.

"It's better if you call us Dad and Papa like Beam." Pete says and then continues, "Beam has decided everything on his own! We're just here for a formality." He pouts. Kao shakes his head for his husband's antics.

Kao and Pete sit on the sofa.

Forth is unsure if Pete is happy about Beam's decision or not but watching him pouting is funny indeed. Beam goes and hugs his Dad and Pete smiles cheerfully. "Dad, I'll cancel everything if you ask me to do it!" Beam says.

Forth is shocked. Will Beam seriously leave him if Dad doesn't allow Beam to be with him ? Forth was lost in his thoughts.

"Forth, dear, don't mind his words. This old man says stupid things and his stupid son will follow that!!" Kao says. "I'm always left alone when they team up against me!" Kao makes a fake sad face while saying it.

"Now you won't!" Forth says while handing Pete and Kao a glass of water. "You'll have me in your team if you allow me to be your son-in-law." Forth says to Kao.

"Oh my god!! Beam, see ... he's bribing Kao to team up against us to get your hand." Pete starts a fake war. All are smiling at the stupid conversation.

"Oh! It means you're scared that my son-in-law and I will win against you?" Kao says. "Right, my dear son-in-law?" Kao asks, looking at Forth.

"You approved him only because he teams up with you? You're unbelievable! I won't allow it till I take his test." Pete says firmly.

"Yeah. And I won't marry someone who teams up against us!" Beam says making a cute pout.

"You won't marry me?" Forth asks.

"No. I won't marry someone who is not in my team. I'll marry someone I love. Right Dad?" Beam asks his dad.

"Of course Beamie. You can marry anyone you love. Just point your finger at that person." Pete says.

"I want to marry him" Beam points cutely at Forth. Beam, Kao and Forth laugh hard at that.

"On which team you really are?" Pete is confused. He asks Beam and joins the laugh.

"Well, enough with the silly talks. Let's be serious. Beam has told us how firmly you stood by his side till now and how happy he feels when he's with you. So we both already accepted you as our baby's husband." Kao says.
