Hailey's POV

Now that I've finished my final study day, I'll sleep it off for the next day. It'll be really cool to let all the information I've learned be transformed into answers and be tucked away in my brain for future use.

I'm also really excited for Xmas vacation-ing with my mom, dad and yaya's since they're Filipina and haven't went to the Philippines in a pretty long time. They've went there more than we have, albeit its still a pretty long time.

A thought pops into my head. The girls! L, S, and Y. I can't quite recall their names but I remember the dream clearly.

The string is really something else. I then scroll my phone and check social media and whatnot; but I discipline myself and go to sleep because its a pretty big day tomorrow and I can't fail it.

I wake up and do my usual routine. I leave without a trace and not waking anyone up and head to school.

I enter the school. Nervousness in my heary for what's to come. I head off to my final exams for the S.Y and see that there's a little bit of time to kill and talk to my friends.

I approach a very worried looking Mei, and the powercouple Xian and Kim studying together and teaching each other lessons.

"Nǐmen hǎo ma?" (You guys ok?) I ask, semi-laughing at their very serious faces.

No one responds, and they seem to be in trance-like states; so I do an 'ehem' to snap them out of it.

"Shì ma?" (Huh, yeah?) Kim says, a bit surprized.

Xian looks up at me and Mei does too, she then looks back down.
"Ó, hāi, hǎi lì. Zài nà méi jiàn dào nǐ bàoqiàn" (Oh, hi Hailey. I didn't see you there. Sorry.) Xian responds.

"Hēi, méi!" (Hey, Mei!) I slightly make my voice louder and tap her desk lightly. Mei snaps out of her trance-like state.

"Ó, wǒ de huàirén wǒ hái zài pínglùn hāhāhā" (Oh, my bad; I was still reviewing. hahaha) Mei finally responds to us.

"Nàme, nǐmen duì qímò kǎoshì gǎnjué rúhé? Nǐmen sìhū hěn rènzhēn." (So, how are you guys feeling about the final exam? You guys seemed pretty serious.) I ask the 3 of them.

"Ó, gěi wǒmen ma? Xiànzài hěn hǎo wǒmen zhǐshì zài yǎnshì yīxiē dōngxī. Méi nǐ ne" (Oh, for us? It's fine now. We were just glossing over some stuff. How about you Mei?) Kim asks responds and asks.

"Wǒ kàn qǐlái hěn rènzhēn ma? Bù, zhè zhǐshì yīxiē zuìzhōng shěnchá." (Did I look serious? No, it was just some final reviewing.)

We all laugh and I switch over the topic.

"Nàme, nǐmen dǎsuàn qù nǎlǐ dùjià shèngdàn jié?" (So, where do you guys plan to go for Christmas vacation?)

"Pupunta kami sa Pilipinas, actually. Ikaw?" (We're going to the Philippines actually. You?) Xian asked.

"Let's ask Mei 1st. Where are you going for Christmas vacation?" To my surprize, Mei answers in English.

"Oh, to the Philippines too." We're quite shocked but I chimed in and said;

"Oh; what a surprize! I'm going to the Philippines, too."

"Woow! Lets plan hangouts together then!" Kim says with excitement laced in her voice.

Sadly, the exams had started and we took it. It wasn't the easiest though. It gets tougher every year. I managed to pull it off and answer everythibg in the test... I maybe had guessed some answers though.

I went home and me and my parents talked about the trip. Afterwards, we also talked to Mei, Xian, Kim and their parents about hangouts, meetups and tours we could have in the Philippines.

I ended the day happy and relaxed because I knew I'd get to meet a soulmate. Or atleast look for them.

I noticed that we haven't written that much on our skin to communicate with each other so I decided to spark up a conversation.

"Hey yall, that was such a nice dream meeting you guys." I wrote on my arm.

I wated but got no reply. Maybe they're asleep. So I did the same. No dream though. We must be really busy, lol.
