1:39 am, March 28, 3030

Today is Eloura Selene Vielle's 15th birthday (in Korean Age) and 14th birthday (in International age). She stayed up late. She received birthday greetings even though it's just the start of her birthday. After thanking the persons who greeted her, one link stood out and caught her attention.

"Red String of Fate...." Selene read it loudly as if it's the most interesting thing in the world, after that she opened the link and read the article with curiosity.

Minutes later, her pinkie finger on her left hand showed a red light. Selene was shocked. But the light disappeared when she blinked her eye.

'Must be my imagination.' she thought.

~End of flashback~

12:58 am, October 10, 3030

Selene stayed up all night to finish her project because it is needed to be passed later. Her groupmates already did their part, that's why she's really doing her best to finish their project.

1:00 am came, Selene randomly took a look at her hands and she was shocked because she saw the red light on her pinkie again, just the same as on what happened on her birthday but this time the red light was visible on both of her hands, but it vanished and left a mark.

She took a closer look and it's a red line surrounding both her left and right pinkie and she just can't find the end because it looks like an endless string.

"So what I saw on my birthday wasn't my imagination? And red string of fate is real?!" Selena talked to herself, walking back and fourth at her room thinking what should be her next action after finding out that she have this string.

Ringg ringg!***

On the phone...

"Annyeong, wae ajigdo kkaeeo issseubnikka?" (Hello, Why are you still awake?) Haruto asked her

"I just need to finish some peulojegteu" (projects) Selene responded.

"Wae geuleohge jeulgeobge deullinayo?" (Why do you sound so amused?)

"Ah, Haru-yah. Naneun ppalgan kkeun-i (I have the red string)"

"HAHAHAHA. What a nice joke Loura. Geunyang swieo la pigonhae." (Just rest now, you sound tired.)

"Aish! If you don't want to believe me then it's all up to you. Jalga!" (Good Night!)

Call ended.....

'I think I'll just sleep. What a memorable day it is...' Selene thought to herself.

Selene's PoV

The next morning...

"Selene, get your ass up. Gumising ka na! You'll be late! Sinasabi ko na nga bang wag kang magpupuyat eh! Andito na si Haruto para sunduin ka, maligo ka na, dalian mong bata ka!" my mother shouted

See? That's why I don't need an alarm clock. My mother sounds like one. HAHAHA.

"Opo Mama!" I responded

Pagkatapos nun, I showered really fast and good thing because I already picked an outfit kahapon kasi look, I'm late today. I'm more comfortable speaking in tagalog so please bear with me. eHe.

I just added a little bit of tint in my lips kasi I'm pale af. After that I went down to see na nakaupo na dun si Haruto. Oh! He's my boyfriend. Yeah we're still in our teenage days but my parents and his parents are in favor of our relationship so that's good.

"About what you said last night. Sasil-ingayo?" (Is it true?) Haru asked in the middle of our conversation

"Of course it's true! Do you think I'm joking?---" after that I glanced dun sa pinkies ko "---Ayun oh, I can clearly see it right now."

"Well, you know that I'm a Japanese and that red string of fate means connection. Uligadoeeoseoneun andoendaneun uimiibnikka?" (Does it mean that we're not meant to be?) Haru said sadly but he still have his wonderful smile.

"Hey! Don't think of it that way. Naneun igeos-i nangmanjeog in salang-ui kkeun-i anilago saeng-gaghabnida." (I have a feeling that this is not a string for romantic love)

"Hmm, really? Neol ilh-eul cham-eul su eobs-eo nal tteonaji mal-a jwo" (I can't bear to lose you so please don't leave me)

"Of course, and hindi porket soulmate love-love na yun. I'll find my soulmate, whatever happens and whatever it takes."

"But there's something weird about it, I have the red strings on both of my pinkies" I added

"But hey, for now let's go to school!" pagkatapos nun hinila ko na si Haruto cause we're really running late na. HAHAHAHA
