At the cafeteria, Aliana and Lillian sat down at a table to eat lunch. Aliana has a burger and smoothie on her plate, while Lillian has French fries, a burger, and something else she couldn't identify.

“Lillian, what's that on your plate apart from the French fries and burger?” Aliana asked.

“It's sushi,” Lillian replied.

“What is sushi?”

“It's well made out of fish,” Lillian answered.

Aliana suddenly lost her appetite. Is Lillian eating fish? Maybe she didn't hear her correctly.

“What did you say it's made out of?” she asked, just to be sure.

“Fish.”

Aliana felt her blood rush to her face and ears. “How could you Lillian?! How can you be eating fish?!” she shouted, drawing the attention of everyone in the cafeteria.

Lillian was shocked and confused at the same time. “What's wrong Aliana? Why are you saying this? It's just fish?”

Aliana scoffed loudly. “Why would you eat such an innocent creature?!”

“For goodness sake, it's food, why are you acting all weird?” Lillian asked, more confused now.

Aliana stood up from her seat. “You know what? Don't talk to me!”

Aliana turned around so quickly that she bumped into someone, making the person's food drop to the floor.

“Oh, my jellyfish! I'm so sorry,” she apologized, immediately crouching to clean up the mess she caused.

“How dare you hit me, bitch!”  the victim raged.

Aliana stood up and faced the person. “Excuse me?”

There were three of them, all girls. It was the one in the middle, she bumped into by mistake. They were all dressed in black. The middle one has very long black hair and red eyes, she is the same height as Aliana, she has nice curves and is gorgeous. The other girls are twins, they have brown hair and black eyes, and they are of average height and beauty.

“You heard me, I called you a bitch!” she spat.

“Says the girl who looks like my neighbour's bulldog and her minions with the face of a starved chihuahua,” Aliana retorted.

“How dare you talk back at me! It's like you don't know me. I'm Brenda, leader of the vipers. So better stay within your limit before I do something terrible to you!” she seethed.

“I would like to see you try,” Aliana challenged.

She took a step towards Brenda and the other girl did the same, leaving little to no space between them. Aliana noticed Brenda's eyes flash red, they were about to take it to the extreme, when Lillian came in between them.

“I'm sorry Brenda, Aliana doesn't mean what she said, she just talks without thinking,” Lillian apologized making the mermaid's jaw drop.

“Are you her friend?” Brenda asked her.

Lillian nodded her head.
