The big paragraphs of italics will be flashbacks about whatever I'm talking about at the time, it will make sense. Every flashback happened after they started dating (after the day on the stage).

A lot had happened in since that day on the stage. Kurt and Blaine quickly fell for each other and started dating. They hid their relationship for a while, for Kurt's benefit. Kurt slowly started coming out of his shell in school. It started with getting rid of the lip ring, then styling his hair like he used to, then going back to wearing his signature stylish designer clothes. Blaine smiled every time he saw Kurt making progress.

"I'm really proud of you Kurt." Blaine said suddenly. Both of the boys were in lying on Blaine's bed, Kurt resting his head on Blaine chest, and Blaine playing with Kurt's hair.

"What do you mean?" Kurt asked, smiling up at Blaine. Blaine smiled down at him lovingly.

"The amount of progress you've made is phenomenal. I mean, think to a few months back, you were still pretending to hate everyone and hiding your emotions. Now you're letting people in and letting people see the real you. I couldn't be more prouder of you." Blaine said. Kurt looked away from Blaine, a single tear escaping his eye.

"Oh no, Kurt, don't cry. I didn't want you to be upset." Blaine said frantically, sitting up and placing both of his hands on Kurt's cheeks. Kurt smiled at him and chuckled lightly, placing a hand on one of Blaine's.

"I'm not upset Blaine. It's just... no ones ever said that they're proud of me before." Kurt said quietly. Blaine looked at Kurt sadly, it was such a simple thing, to say you're proud of someone, but Kurt had never experienced it.

"Well, I always have and always will be proud of you." Blaine said, wiping away Kurt's tears with his thumb. Kurt smiled at his beautiful boyfriend.

Kurt enjoyed glee club more and more, now going because he enjoys it, rather than being forced too. Kurt got closer to Mercedes and Rachel, becoming good friends with them again.

Blaine was standing at his locker, watching Kurt out the corner of his eye. Kurt was leaning against a random locker, chatting with Rachel and Mercedes. He was smiling and laughing with the girls. Blaine smiled to himself and felt his heart melt with happiness. Kurt waved goodbye to Mercedes and Rachael, and walked over to Blaine, smiling.

"hey handsome." Kurt said quietly, so that no one around the could hear. Blaine smiled at him.

"Hey Kurt, saw you were chatting with Mercedes and Rachel." Blaine said happily. Kurt smiled slightly and nodded.

"Yeah. About that, is it okay if I hang out with them after school tomorrow? We're just going to go to the mall I think." Kurt asked. Blaine looked at him weirdly, but then smiled.

"Of course you can go Kurt, but you don't need to ask me for permission. You can do whatever you want, unless you're cheating on me, I will not accept that." Blaine said, pointing a finger at Kurt. Kurt grabbed Blaine's wrist and dragged him into an empty classroom. Kurt shut the door behind them and walked over to Blaine, kissing him passionately.

"I'd never cheat on you. You're perfect, everyone else is nothing compared to you." Kurt said, staring into Blaine's eyes. Blaine felt his heart explode with love. Blaine smiled and leaned up to kiss Kurt.

Kurt's dad was a battle they had to face. With Blaine's encouragement, Kurt went to the police and told them everything. Kurt ended up deciding to take his father to court. The Anderson family bought Kurt the best lawyer in the state, which Kurt said he couldn't accept, but the Anderson's insisted. Kurt stayed at Blaine's house, still trying to find somewhere to permanently live. Many nights Blaine would walk into the guest room, where Kurt was staying, and find him sobbing. Blaine would rush over to him, hug him and give him word of encouragement, knowing that the current situation they we're dealing with was hard on Kurt. On the day of the trial, Blaine asked Kurt if he wanted him to come, but Kurt said no, saying it was something he needed to do himself.
