Blaine was sitting in English. The class had started 10 minutes ago, and Kurt was no where to be found.

20 minutes into the class, Kurt walked through the door.

"You're late." Miss Wilson said. Kurt rolled his eyes.

"I was trying to save a princess and there was this big scary dragon that I had to fight so I could save her. I think the princesses life is more important than an English class, don't you?" Kurt said, smirking. Miss Wilson sighed and rubbed her eyes.

"Of course, just... go sit down and don't interrupt again." She said. Kurt nodded and made his way to his seat, next to Blaine.

"I don't understand what's the point of me tutoring you and waisting my time to get you better at English when you won't put in the effort." Blaine whispered to him.

"Fuck off, I had shit to deal with." Kurt said sternly. Blaine looked at him.

"What's that supposed to mean, did you have some loser you needed to beat up or something?" Blaine asked. Kurt quickly turned his head to look at Blaine, and scowled at him.

"My personal life doesn't and never has concerned you Anderson." Kurt said. Blaine looked down sadly.

"It concerned me when we were friends and you were nice to me." Blaine said quietly. Blaine could hear Kurt mutter something under his breath, but he couldn't make it out. They didn't say anything to each other the rest of the class. Though, Blaine was surprised when Kurt got out his note book and started writing down some things the teacher was saying. Granted, he didn't write down a lot, but it was progress.

The bell rung and both boys stood up, getting ready to leave.

"You wrote notes." Blaine said. Kurt looked up at him.

"Shut up." Kurt said, but it wasn't in a mean way, it was like how someone would say it to their friend. Kurt walked away and Blaine smiled at him. Progress.

On Thursday and Friday in English, Kurt would arrive late, but he wrote down a few notes, more and more each day. It made Blaine happy, he was helping Kurt.

School had just finished on Friday and Blaine made his way to the library. He got there before Kurt so he sat down at the same table as last time and got his notebooks and paper out. Kurt arrived 10 minutes later and sat down opposite Blaine.

"Sorry I'm a bit late. Had to stay behind in chemistry because I poured water all over someone." Kurt said. Blaine looked at him as if he was crazy.

"Don't give me that look. He was annoying me, kept throwing wet paper towels at me, had to teach him a lesson." Kurt said, smirking. Blaine just laughed lightly.

"Can you get out you're notesbook? Since you did write notes." Blaine said. Kurt nodded and reached in his bag to get his book. He got out his notebook and flipped to a page. He handed Blaine the book. Blaine took the book and looked at the opened page. It was full of all the notes Kurt took in class. They were okay, it was mainly just snippets of sentences that the teacher had said, but it was a starting point.

"This is good, you're making progress. Soon you'll be writing full 5 page essays no problem." Blaine said. Kurt snorted and took his book back.

The spent the next hour talking about what was happening in class, so that Kurt would understand. Kurt was beginning to understand, there was moments when he got frustrated and didn't understand, but Blaine helped him and he got the hang of it. They had been there for over an hour now.

"We should probably head home. I think we've done quite a lot today." Blaine said. Kurt nodded and they packed up their things.

"Do you need a ride home?" Blaine asked him. Kurt shook his head.
