What is the sound of love?

is there harmony between love

as it gleefully starts with a brush

on each shoulder while walking

and ends with the arm around the

same shoulder of the dire one?

did the first kiss resound the

same way as it did the last?

did the abruption result to you

also losing a stanza off the piece

in the process, and how did it go off?

did it happen with a ritardando?

or did it resonate with an exhilarating

accelerando, never receding

for an interlude or a pause?

did it tire you as much as it did

when you put in all your strength

as you drown with all the crescendos

of your insanity, and the euphony

it produces as it escalates to a fortissimo?

when was the last time you thought

that the start of a ballad is

as good as its conclusion?

what is the sound of love?

were you around when it hummed?
