Years passed and all
was at peace and the
One Name, undisputed.
Then rose the rebel Osmanthus.
The death of his betrothed
motioned him to take up
arms and storm the capital.
He posited that had his lover
had a name of her own,
she would have been his
at the time of her demise.
He quarreled with the
council and claimed
that names should equate
to the supposition
of ownership.
And so the decline
of the One Name
