Unang Kabanata

Sinulat ko ang mga sinulat ko kanina sa notebook.

He should be kind. He should be handsome. He should be skillful. He should be intelligent. He should be hot. He should be brave. He should be good at se

Hindi ko pala natapos 'to.

He should be good at serving other people. He should seek justice for his family for he believes they didn't die in a car accident. It was a planned accident.

I continued to write the details of the main character hanggang unti unti na akong binibisita ng antok..

The next day came and I prepared for class. Malapit lang naman ang building ko mula sa dorm, kaya naglakad nalang ako.

"Pssst!" Narinig kong tinawag ako ng tao sa likod. Nilingon ko naman siya at nakita ko ang isa kong blockmate.

"Gusto mo ba sumama? Gagala kami sa sinulog." Pagyaya niya sakin.

"Pass lang ako, may gagawin ako eh." Ngumiti na ako at naglakad ng mabilis.

Alam ko naman kung ano ang sinulog, pero totoo naman kasi na may gagawin ako sa linggo.

Vacant kami ng three hours kaya pumunta na ako sa library. I took my laptop out and I started to browse some information I can use for the main character.

"He should have a car... He should be rich... Dapat may bestfriend siya na always there.." Muni muni ko sa sarili ko while browsing.

I started to browse some names I can use din for the character. It took time until I finally got the name I can use.

I also started to browse some names for the other roles.

Fiere, Valerio, Christian, Sebastian..

Until the time I have to decide the name of the female lead. Kailangan ko ba gawin na romance ang librong 'toh?

I couldn't decide, so I decided what kind of ending it should be.

"Hmm.. The main character never said I love you in his life and the ending should be a happy one where he gets to live happily with the heroin." I said to myself as I typed the details.

Pero what should I do? Hindi ko talaga alam ang pangalan ng girl. I'll give space nalang siguro, incase may magandang name na papasok sa isip ko hihi.

I hurried back where I'd meet my barkada since first sem. I met Cybele, Serenity and Elize. Pero si Elize, palaging busy kasi may subject siyang kinukuha aside sa mga subjects namin.

"Saan niyo gusto kumain?" I asked my friends habang pababa kami ng campus.

"Silogan tayo! Gusto niyo kumain ng Korean foods?" Tanong ni Cybele.

"Siomai madness kaya?" Suggest ni Serenity.

"How about sa Bunzel canteen nalang tayo? Bunzel din naman next class natin." I suggested.

"Okay lang, pero gusto ko mag kfc.." Reklamo ni Selene.

"Orange Brutus nalang."Sabi ko ulit at lahat naman ay sumang-ayon.

Lahat kami ay umorder ng shawarma rice, it's the all time barkada's fave.

"Whats your plan this sinulog?" Cybele asked the group.

"I'm going with my boyfriend, kayo?" Biglang sabi ni Elize na bigla rin dumating. I guess tapos na ang class niya.

"Sana all may jowa." Sabi ni Serenity.

"Makauyab ra lage ko bantay jud mo. (Magkakajowa lang ako, watch out kayo)." Sabi ni Elize.

"Ikaw, Fayre? Ano plano mo?" Serenity asked me.

"I might stay lang sa dorm. I have some stuffs to do." I said smiling. Hindi naman nila ako kinulit much about it at patuloy lang sila sa pag uusap na 70% ay hindi ko na naintindihan.

Our class ended at around 3, so I decided pupunta muna sa library and continue my 'research'.

I added some possible plot twists and decided on the villain name...

And I decided to use the name of my friends as villains. I couldn't think of more.

Serenity, Elize, Cybele..

Kawawa naman ang main character, super bugbog.

I looked at my files and I saw lots of stories na hindi ko kinayang tapusin. Ewan ko, hindi ko talaga kayang tapusin ang isang kwento. Siguro kinukulang ako ng drive or motivation.

"Ikaw ra isa miss? (Ikaw lang ba miss?)." Biglang sipot ng isang guy sa tabi ko.

"Ha?" I asked, hindi ko kasi maintindihan.

"Hakdog." Sabi niya at tumawa. Tumawa narin ako baka kasi isipin niya na ang KJ ko na di gets ang sinasabi niya na hindi ko naman talaga gets.

"Ah, ulam mo nung lunch?" I asked. Hindi ba hotdog sinabi niya?

"Ay, di ka kasabot bisaya? (Ah, hindi ka nakakaintindi ng bisaya?)." He asked me.

"Uhm, I don't speak bisaya. Care to speak in English or in Tagalog?" I said.

"Oh sorry, my bad. I meant to ask if are you alone in here."

"Oh right. Uh, yes po." I said nalang and smiled.

"Noah Rocco nga pala, you can call me rocco. I don't go by Noah too much because it's quite common here in campus. Pwede rin bebe luvs kung gusto mo." Tumawa siya and naging seryoso ulit. Ang weird?

"I'm currently a third year chemical engineering student. Ikaw ba?"

"Ah, Fayre pala. I'm from psychology department. Freshman." I smiled while nakipag shake hands ako.

"What are you doing here in LRC? Research?" He asked. Matanong din tong taong toh.

"Uh, yeah. Assignments." I said.

"Oh-kaay. So, mauna na ako ah? I still have some work to do." Sabi niya at umalis na.

Wow, anu yon?

Pabalik na ako sa dorm ng biglang tumawag si mommy.

"Ma?" Sagot ko.

"How are you my daughter?"

"Ayos lang, tao parin naman." I said.

"How's USC?"

"It's fine."

"Where do you want to take board exams? There in cebu?"

"Ma, can you stop pressuring me things I'm not yet going to do? I'm still a freshman."

"Alam mo naman anak na dapat planado ang future mo. Hindi ka pwede maging bigo dahil nag iisa ka lang na bibigo." Tumatawang joke ni mom. Hindi naman funny.

"You know, I'm tired ma. I have to go. Goodnight." I said and ended the call. 'Yan na naman kasi pag uusapan namin eh. Still the same.

Dumating ako sa dorm and I started to write the details I got while researching kanina. I made a mistake sa isang part and I tried to erase it pero.. ayaw matanggal.

"Why is this not.... Working...." I asked myself. I find it weird pero I decided not to continue erasing nalang. I guess weird things keep happening lately... Rocco to be exact... charot.
