i'm gonna shit myself, i know it. i'm terrified. i look in the mirror and take a deep breath one last time before leaving my room. knowing that i wont be going in alone makes me feel better but still.

me and jayden have gotten close over these past few days. so we decided, why not let her take me into school the first day.
grab my shoes and bag, go down stairs and put my shoes on there. when i go out the door, i see jaydens head in the window of the car. they move quick.
"good morning people," i say with a big smile on my face.
everybody speaks back.
"ready?" joseph asks.
jayden and i nod and we leave the driveway.
7:58am
this place looks huge. and here comes a cloud of anxiety. i'm never really anxious but this is totally different situation.
"everybody got halloween stickers on they car, it ain't that serious," joseph says while opening up the car door.
"it is for some people," i laugh. "i know you're an adult or whatever but are you sure you gonna be okay?"
"not only am i an adult but it ain't rocket science finding my way around."
"okay, fine."
i get next to jayden talk to her as we start walking towards the school entrance.
"how's it feel riding in the back of you MC's car?" i ask her.
"a dream come true and best believe i'm riding with you two everyday," she says with a giggle.
we get to the front door and i see kids going to what looks like would be the gym. everybody here are like giants.
"you want me to go with you and your brother to the office or are you good?" jayden asks.
"we're fine, thank you though," i tell her and me and joseph go into the office.
i see a lady sitting at a desk, she looks up at me and smiles.
"excuse me. today's my first day and i'm in here for my schedule," i look over at my brother, "his too."
"last name?"
"buchanan."
"joseph and destiny. take a seat and i'll have it printed out in a second."
"thank you so much," i say and sit.
"can't speak i see," i look over at joseph and say.
"nah, you said everything i was gonna."
"mhm."
i thought the lady was gonna come up to me and joseph, but she went to the boy 2 seats away from us.
"they'll announce it on the intercom, hold on a second," i hear her whisper to him.
she walks over to us and says, "here are you guys schedules. joseph, this is mariano. he isn't in your instructional focus, but he's in all of your blocks. and he'll be in 2nd lunch with you as well."
"okay, thank you," joseph says and walks away with mariano. dudes kinda cute.
"you're welcome and destiny, i'll walk you to your first class. so, just come back here after gym or cafeteria, whichever one you go to."
"okay," i say with a smile.
joseph's pov
"wassup bro, i'm joseph," i say to mariano.
"mariano but people call me mar."
"oh, okay. that's wassup. so, what's it like here?"
"shit gets lit sometimes, and what i mean by that is that shit gets lit when me and my boys enter a room."
"oh yeah?"
"yessir. we all end up going to 2nd lunch together, we ain't supposed to but i mean.."
i laugh.
"so you can chill with us."
"word."
"yeah but your IF is over there, see you next period bro."
