Luminosity

After numerous nights of clouds, the stars finally made a reappearance, and I wasted no time heading there once the sun disintegrated from my sight.

I lay down, my favorite tree nearby, as I labelled the constellations in my mind. My eyes felt heavy, but I forced them to stay open as I wanted to take it all in before the clouds chose to cause more harm.

The clicking sound of a camera made me jump up, seeing a figure in the distance.

"Hey! Stalker-oozky! Get over here!" I shouted, watching as the figure froze, clearly contemplating whether to run or not. He was probably some old geezer who I could easily outrun without even trying.

The figure sighed, making it obvious that it was indeed a man. He slowly made his way over to me, cursing at himself for not silencing his camera.

To my surprise, the male was younger, around my age. He had cherry red hair, and he wore a black and white suit with his tie wrapped loosely around his neck. His camera was shaking slightly from the uneasiness of his hands.

He stopped a few feet in front of me, staring down at the ground.

"Who are you?" I started off with, choosing to not bombard him with questions.

The male shook his head. "I'd rather not answer with my name. Instead, I can tell you that your assumption is probably right. I am the Instagram account who posted your photo."

"Why?"

"Why what?" The stranger asked.

I rolled my eyes. "Why did you, one, take my picture, and why did you, two, post it online?"

The man sighed, unable to look me in the eyes. "I take photos and post the most beautiful ones."

"Can you stop talking in cryptic language? Answer me straight up!"

He looked up with a 'duh' expression on his face. He really was quite handsome, what I could see of him of course, which was mostly the button nose and the beautiful brown eyes.

"I literally just told you that I post beautiful pictures. That means I complimented you, you oblivious fuck."

His words took a moment to process before my eyes grew wide. I couldn't help but giggle a little at my own stupidity.

Before I knew it, the stranger was laughing a little also, making me laugh even harder. This went on for a few minutes until we finally settled down.

"Well, I guess it's not everyday you get to meet your favorite Instagram account in real life." I admitted, holding out a hand. "The least you could do is tell me your name. Mine is Kim Taehyung."

The stranger hesitated before giving a slight, accepting nod. "Jeon Jungkook," he stated while shaking my hand.

"Well, Jungkook... Next time you post my picture online, I'd appreciate it if you got my permission first."

Jungkook chuckled and nodded. "Duly noted. I-It was nice to meet you, Taehyung. I'm sure that my camera and I will see you around."

I gave a short nod as he turned on his heel and walked off, a little sway in his step. I couldn't help but admire his small waist, and the way his hands fiddled with the hem of his shirt as he walked away. I smiled, not quite sure what it was about this stranger that I was hooked on. I realized that he was quickly becoming the light in the darkness.
