Night 4: Learning the Golden Truth

Madeline finished early as usual and was going to Pirate Cove. She looked around, hoping not to see anything out of place before going in. Madeline gave a wide smile and spoke excitedly.

"Hey Foxy!"

Foxy sat in a corner, fear crossed his face. Madeline grew very concerned and walked over to him.

"F-Foxy...?"

He looked over at her, a small smile. It felt fake.

"Aye Maddie..."

"Foxy... Are you alright? You seem out of it..."

"I'll be fine Shy Fighter..." He sighed, putting his hand on her head. "I'm just worried that Golden Freddy will kill the last thing I care for... I can't let him do it again..."

Madeline looked confused. "Again...?"

Foxy sighed again. "Yes... Again... Golden Freddy has killed many children who cared for me. He also has targeted Freddy and Chica and killed the children who care for them, as well as Bonnie."

"So..." Madeline said. "Golden Freddy wants you and the others to suffer..." Madeline looked saddened.

Everyone at Freddy Fazbear's was miserable... All because of him... Madeline felt a new emotion she hadn't felt in what seemed like years... Anger.

Madeline wanted to stop Golden Freddy from causing more pain, misery, and grief. She stood up, a dark glare in her eyes. Foxy looked worried.

"Maddie...?" He stood up, watching her walk to the curtain. "Where are you going...?"

Madeline spoke in a dark and angered voice. "To stop these deaths... To end this predicament once and for all."

Foxy's eyes widened. "What?!" His voice was filled with worry. "Are you fucking insane lass?! No one can stop Golden Freddy... It's impossible!"

"If I don't stop him..." Madeline looked at him. "Then who will?!"

Foxy looked surprised to see this newfound anger in Madeline. It almost seemed like she was ready to kill.

"Every day... Children are dying left and right... If I don't stop this soon... He might target more than just children who care for you and the crew... He might target anyone who dares to enter the Pizzeria."

Foxy sighed. "Although I don't like the choice you're making... I'll have to respect it lass. I know you want to stop Golden Freddy from harming anyone else... but... I hope you know what you're doing. I can't lose you again..."

Madeline nodded, then gave a small smile. "Don't worry Foxy... I won't let Golden Freddy harm me like he does those kids. I promise."

With that very remark, Madeline left. Anger crossed her face again as she walked the halls. She went to the kitchen, grabbing a kitchen knife. Chica noticed her grab the knife.

"Maddie...?" She looked concerned. "What's going on?"

Madeline ignored Chica as she left. Anger was still shown on her face.

The only thing that Madeline was focused on? It was to dismantle Golden Freddy.
