I smiled back as he sat down next to me on the stone wall.

"But I thought we're not supposed to 'meet' until tomorrow," I said sceptically.

"Well, yes but I usually come out here at night, and it's your fault that you just happened to be out here," he replied triumphantly.

"I'm sorry I like being outside," I replied sarcastically, yes just throw him off, you're not interested.

"No don't be, I don't mind sharing this magical spot with someone, it gets rather lonely just sitting out here by myself sometimes anyways." He replied.

"Ok, well let's get to know each other better, since tomorrows time to do that is limited any ways," I continued.

"Ok, so first off can I tell you something?" James asked.

"I guess," I replied.

"I'm not very good at this whole, relationship thing since I've never really done it before. And it doesn't help that there are peasants-"

"Peasants?!" I asked incredulously.

"Yeah, you know the lower class citizens,"

"I find that very offensive since I'm one of these 'peasants'!" I exclaimed and stood up in rage, about to storm away, but he grabbed my wrist before I could do so. I stomped on his foot but that didn't make him release, only grimace slightly. This was such a bad idea, I knew he was stuck up and conceded! He stood up as well.

"I'm sorry I had now idea, I just mean well-" I cut him off again.

"You know there's no way to fix what you just said, or erase it from my memory," I replied quite cross with him. James came closer and released his grip.

"I understand, and I didn't mean it like that-" he continued.

"Well you sure said it like that!" I exclaimed.

"No, I meant, I don't like everyone watching, viewing my first-time 'dating' that's what I meant, but you never let me get a word in otherwise!" he continued, voice rising.

My eyes popped. Oh. My. Gosh. I- I didn't oops! Now I feel like a fool. I sat back down on the stone wall, and James did too.

"I'm sorry, your foot and I mean, well-"

"Can we just forget that ever happened?" he asked.

"Please," I pleaded and laughed the situation off.

"It feels so magical, doesn't it?" he asked repeating the words he had said before.

"But I thought we're not supposed to 'meet' until tomorrow," I repeated mine.

"A little rule breaking won't hurt," he replied.

"Not in my experiencing either," I continued.

"So what was life like for you before the palace?" he asked directing the conversation towards me.

"I was an orphan in an all-girls orphanage, my parents died when I was six," I replied remembering. "I was the oldest in the whole orphanage, I'd been there almost ten years," I continued. "This," I gestured around. "Has turned my world upside down," I finished.
