On Christmas day, Thea woke up to the faint sound of lake water lapping against the window. When Snape had come with the sheet, she rushed forward to sign her name as she preferred to spend Christmas alone in Slytherin common room than being back home. She put on a knit dress and her slippers to go out to the common room. Ronnie and Emily had went back home but she found presents from them under the tree. She didn't expect anything from her family and went out to have breakfast at the Great Hall.

"There you are!" Fred yelled scaring her.

"Fred, what are-"

"Quiet. We don't want Filch rushing here." He cut her off and dragged her upstairs with the Marauder's Map in his hands.

Looking at the map to see if anyone was coming their way, Fred led Thea to the Gryffindor Tower.

"Password?" The portrait asked them. She looked at Thea skeptically. "I don't remember seeing you before."

"Baubles!" Fred hissed out and pushed her in when the portrait swung open.

The Gryffindor common room was so different from hers. Thea's eyes widened as she looked around the cozy round room with squashy armchairs, a fireplace and tables. The room, of course was adorned with Gryffindor colours and just seemed homey. There were two staircases leading up, she assumed to the dormitories.

"Wow." She exclaimed. "It's so warm. Temperature wise and feeling wise."

"It feels like we've never left home." He replied with a smile.

"Fred, why am I here though?"

"Hold that thought." He grabbed her hand once again and dragged her up the stairs.

"Merry Christmas!" Fred and George yelled at the same time after he led her in their dorm.

"Merry Christmas." Thea replied with a smile.

"We wanted to open our presents together." Fred explained.

Thea looked down at the pile of presents and could see the ones she got for them there as well.

"These are for you." They spoke up at the same time giving her a box.

She found numerous dungbombs and sugar quills in the box. It didn't seem much but it meant a lot for Thea because the gift was meaningful for her. She also found her favorite tea from Madam Puddifoot's. Ronnie had gotten her Quidditch supplies and Emily got her a stationary set she checked out during their trip to Hogsmeade. She put the box aside to open the lumpy parcel which seemed to hold something soft in it.

"Mum made you a Weasley sweater." Fred explained as Thea held out the dark green sweater with a large T on it in grey.

"She knits them every Christmas."

"I love it." She stated, quickly pulling it over her head.

She felt her throat burn in a threatening manner, she hadn't felt like this on Christmas since her mother passed away.
