"Wake up, Thea!" Ronnie yelled excitedly.

Ever since their first year, Ronnie was up before Thea as the latter was exhausted from everything.

"Wha- Ronnie?" Thea groggily opened her eyes to see her friend beaming at her.

Her eyes felt heavy from crying and she was sure they were puffy.

"Why are you up this early?" Thea asked sitting up on her bed.

"Can't I be excited for my best friend's first date? It's called being supportive." She replied with a scoff.

"Oh my god! I completely forgot about that." She groaned burying her face in her hands. "Maybe I should cancel..."

"No, no, this will be good for you." Ronnie said sitting at the edge of Thea's bed.

"Yeah, it will help you get your mind off stuff." Emily added, walking towards her friend's wardrobe. "We were thinking you should wear the blue shirt. It makes your eyes pop out." She pulled it off from the hanger.

"And the black skirt."

"You guys really thought this through haven't you?" Thea watched as Emily pulled out her skirt and a cape to go with it.

"With Flint making you practice for hours on an end and Prefect duties along with all the homework, we thought to pitch in." Emily said with a smile none of them daring to mention last night.

"What are friends for?" Ronnie put a hand on her friend's shoulder. "Now, chop chop! Off to showers young lady. Time is wasting."

Thea chuckled at her friends before doing what they said. After getting out of the shower, they made her sit in front of them and Ronnie pulled out her wand. Seeing that, Thea quickly jumped up and put her hands up in defense.

"Ronnie, lower your wand."

"What? I'm just gonna dry your hair." Ronnie replied confused.

"I still don't trust you around my hair. Remember the Colovaria accident?" Thea said making Emily let out a hearty laugh who was thinking about that time.

"I'm telling you that was on purpose!" Ronnie defended herself.

"Not any better." Emily said in a singsong voice.

"Fine. Emily can do it."

"I'm perfectly capable of drying my own hair." Thea got her wand and sighed. "But thank you, really. You're great friends."

"Now don't go all soppy on us Thea." Ronnie winked with a grin.

"Oh shut up Ronnie." Thea rolled her eyes with a smile.

"And she's back."

The trio walked to the Great Hall together, all dressed and ready for Hogsmeade. Thea's smile faltered when she saw Theo sitting at the table.
