Pure Business [Jenlisa]

Chapter 7

We are now heading to the club after having light meal at the café near the block. I'm with my girls, Nayeon, Irene and Sana. I have known them for years now, we're highschool classmates same with Jisoo but unfortunately she can't join us because of some errands with her cousin. Though i still informed her that if she ever change her mind, we're just here waiting for her so i texted the address.

So going back, they all studied at New Zealand as well but Nayeon and Sana had to leave when we're about to turn in 10th grade because of their parents' business here in Korea that is expanding and they need to continue studying here leaving me, Irene and Jisoo there at NZ. Then before college, i had to leave leaving the two who are staying good in NZ but now Irene is here to stay for good same with Jisoo. We have the time to spend together but there will be planning first because without it, we don't know when the other is free or when everyone is free. You see our family is loaded so we can do whatever well except me, i just had the opportunity to do so because my parents are not at home plus i have overprotective brothers waiting for me in the house or going to god knows where i am in an instant. It's like, they have their own cctv to whatever place i go to.

"Jen, you finally join us!" I rolled my eyes to what Nayeon said and sat down beside her.  We arrived at the club and i must say that it is not that crowded compared to the last time we went here. It is 8 in the evening maybe the people will go to clubs around 11 because the clubs are open until morning. The girls eyed me suspiciously

"you're like the dead that came back to life. What happened?" Irene worriedly asked.

"Some man called me telling me that they are my future husband!" I heave a sigh and held my forehead i suddenly feel like I'm going to pass out because of what happened since the early morning but this night i just want to forget it and get wasted. There's actually a lot of things that happened and i deserve some hard drink.

"Do you know the man?" Sana asked while drinking.

"No. Why should i?" I hissed while Sana just shrugged.

"Maybe it's a wrong number, jen. Don't stress yourself." Irene said while creating a soothing circle from my back.

"Right. Let's get wasted tonight!" I shouted and grab the nearest drink in front of me to have a toast. Nayeon and the others did the same and we all said "cheers!" in unison as we drink the alcohol in one go. a vodka, perfect for the night. i just want to forget everything, just this night please.

"Jen, wake up." Irene said while gently tapping my cheeks. I open and close my eyes, adjusting but i just hum in response "Sorry jen, I won't be able to drive you home. Should i call your brother to fetch you?" Irene cupped my face but i can't see her because my vision is a bit blurry, I'm drunk, fuck!

"Did i drink too much?" I manage to say but then darkness engulfed me.

No one's POV

"She really insisted on getting wasted and we keep on stopping her but she just can't stop." Irene explained to the person she's talking to who just arrive at the club for about a minute, panting. "And here she is, passed out." She added and pointed to her wasted friend with mouth slightly hung open and disheveled hair. The person stare at the wasted girl and giggled at how cute the latter is when drunk. "You sure you can handle her? It's just I can't drive her home because of these two..." She pointed to her other two friends, equally passed out like Jennie.

"Yes, i can manage." The person said with a determined voice.

"Thankfully i decided not to drink too much. I'll escort Nayeon first to my car so stay here and watch Sana for me for the mean time okay?" Irene said while lifting the drunk Nayeon and put the latter's arms around her neck while she hold on to the girl's waist for balance.
