Chapter 8

Jennie's POV

I woke up because of the light peeking through my glass door then a loud noise coming from the backyard can be heard. Didn't i mention that my room has a balcony that you can clearly see the backyard and the neighborhood? Oh well, there i said it. I scrunch my nose as my head keeps on throbbing as if there's someone hammering it like building a house. why did i even drink that much last night? and speaking of, who the hell brought me home? maybe one of the girls.

I tried to remember everything last night where i went out after the "interrogation" with my brothers, going to this café with the girls then going to the bar nearby. Me talking to the prank call that happened, we're laughing, dancing, me drinking the whole bottle of vodka without stopping as if I'm in a contest or something, Sana puked at the floor, which is gross by the way, but we were too drunk to mind it as we all laugh because of it. I remember that i passed out after drinking that whole bottle and waking up at the sound of Irene talking that she will call my brother to pick me up then i passed out again and i woke up still drunk while on someone's chest, i feel warm and safe around him, then i passed out again and woke up again to someone's car still drunk but all i remember was the intoxicating smell inside the car and that humming voice along side with the music on the radio then i passed out again. Now here i am. Did my brothers fetch me and drove me home last night or is it someone else, maybe it's Hanbin. Yeah, it must be him. I should thank him but wait, hold up. How did he even know when my brothers don't trust him even Jisoo and the girls? Maybe he's there too? I don't know, this is giving me too much headache!

"Pass me the ball, oppa!" I heard the loud voice with matching giggle of our youngest, Ella.

"No, pass it to me!" Taehyang whined like a five year old. He's always making fun of Ella well in fact he's the oldest one from the two.

"You big baby!" a familiar voice said "Here Ella, catch it!" and i heard laughters from the backyard. how annoying, it's early in the morning yet there are shouting and laughing like that? Aish!

I groggily went out of the balcony to see Taehyang just below the mini basket, Ella sitting on a person's shoulder as she shoot the ball and high five her brother. That sight made me smile but it's still early and they are causing too much noise. I was about to speak when Ella look up and saw me

"Unnie's awake!" She happily said causing the two to look up at me as well. "Good afternoon unnie!" Ella greeted and giggled after that but I didn't mind it because i am staring more like glaring to the person who's carrying my sister, Lisa Manoban.

"Hey sis, wanna join us?" i came back to my senses when my brother spoke but I'm still looking at the person with wide smile on her monkey face.

"I see, your big sister is staring at me for too long and I suddenly felt conscious." Lisa said as she divert her beautiful eyes on me and look at my brother with a smirk.

"Maybe she has a crush on you, Lis. Right, baby Ella?" Taehyang asked our little sister who nodded enthusiastically with a wide grin. they've got to be kidding me, now they are teaming up against me?

"Yah! what are you two saying. You, who's carrying my sister...." I pointed at her "bring her down and please!" i crossed my arms

"I.Don't.Have.A.Crush.On.You. Never!" i rolled my eyes, stomping my feet as i went inside my room hearing laughter from outside.

"She's in denial." My brother said. they are making fun of me.

"Oh hey honey, glad you're now up." My mom greeted me with a hug as i went down the stairs. I furrowed my brows after she let go because i saw her with a formal attire, i look around and saw my father too with formal attire. "We're going in a 2 weeks business trip to France, sweetie." Mom informed me maybe she noticed my expression.

"Just you and dad?" I asked and she nodded. I guess I'll be stuck again with my annoying siblings that even Ella is with them against me. "But mom, can i go with you two instead? I'm so bored in this house. It's always my brothers who's with you whenever you're going to business trips" I complained while she chuckled.

"Sweetie, you can come with us anytime but this is not the right time besides Pr-Lisa will accompany you-"

"what? no mom! Jiyong oppa, Mino oppa, Taehyang and Ella are here so why will you want someone to accompany me? I'm not a child anymore mom!" I protested because it's true, i have my siblings here with me.

"Your first brother will handle our Jeju branch for the meantime while we're gone and your second brother will be handling our branch in Seoul. I don't want to leave my three children without their eldest so Lisa will be good with that." this can't be happening. I'm okay with just me, Taehyang and Ella, there's no way Lisa would be here everyday for 2 weeks.

"but-" my mom cut me off.

"No more buts, young lady. I trust Lisa and you should too plus she's going to be your wife soon so this will be a good start for you to hang out you know, get to know each other." I think my hang over is starting to kick in again. Ugh!

"No mom, I don't need to know who is she or what the fuck she does-" she cuts me off again with mad expression

"I don't tolerate you to use such language, young lady. Your father and I's decision is final. If you don't want Lisa around I'll make sure that she's around. Understood?" I heavily sigh while closing my eyes. There's no way i would argue with my mother because i know her, she just wants the best for her children, for me. I look at her and pout.

"I'm going to miss you mom." I said and hug my mother as she wrapped her arms around me as well and i became soft in her arms.

"Aigo, my big baby. We'll miss you too, sweetie. Be good to Lisa because if i hear a complain or whatever that you do, i will come home immediately and scold you for the rest of your life, Ruby Jane. And i mean it!" She let go of the hug just holding both my shoulders while pointing her index finger as she said those words to me, threatening me but she's still calm. I chuckled but then nodded because all i want to do now is to go back to bed and sleep my hungover away.

"Bye for now, kids. We'll see you after 2 weeks!" Our dad bid his goodbye  while walking towards the passengers' seat, mom went in first a while ago after hugging Taehyung, Ella and the monkey.

"Lisa, take good care of these two especially your soon to be wife, okay?" I heard dad shouted with a big teasing smile plastered on his face. my family is really annoying.

"Yes, sir. You can count on me." Lisa saluted that made my brother and sister laugh while i just rolled my eyes.

"I know you will. Bye for now!" He bid one last time then finally entered the car. We wave our hands as the car drove away from the front porch and the car disappeared from our sight, i let out a loud sigh and walk straight to the stairs to go to my room.

"Hey, Jennie!" I heard the monkey shouted but i ignored and continue walking. As i was about to enter my room a hand stopped me who's holding my wrist. I look at it then to the person with raised eyebrow.

"Uh, do you want to like go eat or spend the rest of the afternoon somewhere?" She asked not looking at me but at the floor while scratching her nape, feeling shy and nervous. cute, no not cute.

She look up after not hearing any response from me and i smile, showing my infamous gummy smile to the monkey that made her smile as well.

"Let go of my wrist first." I said still smiling. She look at her hand holding my wrist and let go of it immediately.

"Sorry" she said "so would you like to come?" she added, waiting for my response

"How about....." i seductively said and move forward. Now we're facing each other, inch away. I cupped her cheeks and lean beside her ears whispering the words

"don't.come.near.me.again." then went inside my room, closing it real hard leaving a stunned monkey from the other side.

i think i need to take a cold shower, it's hot in here all of a sudden. ugh!
