I awoke to the sound of beeping and the light of the medical room in the gang house. "Cypher!" Maxie yelled as the others filed in behind her. I felt weak and all of the sudden depressed when the sight of the banged up group filled my vision. I had kept them awake. The must've worried so much for me. I feel like a horrible human being for making all of them suffer that bad. I groan thinking of my conversation with Lucifer.

"Remember who you belong to"Lucifer's voice echoed in my head

"Yea I know..." my voice portraying in a beat up bloodlusting way.

"You also remember our deal?" He seems to echo the very words he said each time i get close to death.

"As long as i keep delirious around you won't allow my family to die." I seem to recite only part of the deal.

"And?"

"If I falter from my path he'll kill me?" I question myself.

"How should you not falter?"

"By hating him and pushing him further away from me..."

"Good now dont forget what I want for the finishing product..."

"His father's soul...."

"Good"

The girls all hugged me before I sent them back to bed. Something I'm used to doing when I get deathly ill. Delirious enters as Maxie leaves. She was giving him a stink eye as she exits.

"Hey..." I smile feeling slightly haunted.

"Hey are you alright?" Delirious asks me trying to start conversation.

"I'm trying to be..." I sigh slouching, "i cant keep doing this itll worry the girls too much." I say trying to open up a bit.

Something in me screaming to just rip my heart out. I dont want to open up to him... not yet. Not until the wretched soul trapping him is gone.

I look into delirious finally realizing how much I missed him. I want him to hold me while I let out all of my anger in the tears that I cant shed... I want my boyfriend back... I need him back.

"I'm sorry I didnt protect you well enough." He says.

"No I should've known better than to get mad at a newbie.." I state keeping a smile.

Delirious

She seemed to be distant or at least trying not to be.

"Let it build over time... just promise me you won't rush your emotions too much..." I say, the words filing from my mouth a bit too quickly for my liking.

I gulp and smile slightly. My smile leaking genuine sadness from my words.

My father's voice caused me to jump. Suddenly memories of how my father treated her when I got possessed by him.

"Welp... you should go get some sleep Jonathan" she said flinching at the mention of my name.

I walk away her following behind lost in thought. She turned down a hallway that held three rooms. Why only three I had no clue but it wasn't towards the bedrooms. She must be trying not to walk in the same direction as me. Then I look towards the time. The ticking clock said 3:30 am. She cant be. Ik she is trying to get over the anger she has towards me. Yet I have a feeling to follow her.

I watch as y/n stares at the map table before her. She seems to be silently whispering to herself. Her eyes seem to be flickering across the map multiple times before she dials a number on her phone.

"Carolyn, you think that a good hangout spot for everyone is -redacted-" her voice became too deep and too corrupted sounding for me to understand.

"....Great...." was all I heard from the other end of the phone.

"So can you make sure chad doesn't have anything or comes anywhere nearby. " y/n says, happily as she marks a spot on the map. Her eyes scanning the photos before her. "Oh and can you get Luci to come by there as well..."

"Yea... want.... soul..." the female voice rang causing me to think about what was said.
