Chapter 12

Jennifer's POV
"Are the guns ready?", I asked. Today was the day we attack El Diablo's mansion. After spending 2 weeks of training my men and that of Joel's, we decided that it was time.

"Sis, you really don't have to go", Andres says and I totally understand. He was trying his best to protect me from any harm but what type of leader will I be if I let only my men go towards the battle area and the I stay at home awaiting their victory to claim it.

"Don't worry bro. I will be fine", I sad while adjusting my bulletproof jacket and then I saw Joel enter and he looked like a military man with an angry look on his face. I had gotten used to his angry face which was always on all the time

"Are you guys ready?" He askes.

"Yes, we are", Martial says after he had rounded up our men.

"Thus is the time to get our revenge against El Diablo. For everything he has done to us. We need to stand strong, with our head up high and know that if we win today, it's for the best and if we don't, we will keep on trying until we have finally conquered him. If any of you are having second thoughts, I will encourage you to step out because the battle is gong to be tough. So, do I have any?", I asked but no one answered neither did they raise up their hand.

"Let the battle begin!", I said as we head towards our assigned cars.

"Great speech by the way", Joel whispers and I just roll my eyes at his comment and then he laughs a silent laugh.

We arrived safely to El Diablo's mansion which was located up North. I hopped from the car and then stared to the mansion in front of me. He really has good taste but it will all come to n end. This is why I loved being me because I was not optimistic but rather sure that we will come out victorious.

I heard Octavio, Martial and Andres talking behind but then I felt someone's presence at my back. That cologne that could draw even the most depressed person out of depression.

"May I ask why you are staring at the house. If you want to buy it after this is done, I am sorry to burst your bubble but have already planned on getting this house", Joel says but I roll my eyes at his comment for the 2nd time today.

"I am not planning on buying this house. Even though it's pretty. And besides the fact you want to buy it will not stop me from also purchasing it because guess what, you don't care me and if I actually want to purchase this house, I will. Keep that in mind".
