Jennifer's POV
I moved to the bathroom after getting home since I have those idiots blood over my clothes which were already disgusting me.
I had a quick shower and then put on my clothes. Leaving my hair down, I head towards my dad's room. I meet him sitting on the bed being forced by my mom to take his medicine. Such a stubborn old man, I say inwardly while approaching trying to think of reasons for him to take his medications because I know he hates them from the bottom of his heart.
"Dad take your medicines and don't ,make a fuss about it", I say with a cold voice just to upset him.
"Wow young lady, the fact you are our leader doesn't mean you get to boss or will I say order your father about".
"Chill out dad. Please take your medicines so you could feel better and because I need you hail and hearty not one foot in the grave".
He glares at me and I take it as my clue to just shut up before I be the one ending up 6 fts under the earth. Mom laughs at us due to our childishness and since her laughter is contagious as a communicable disease, we just into the craziness of laughing without a reason.
"What sup family. Did you guys all smoke because it seems you guys are high", Andres says and this is his turn for us to glare murderously at him.
"Ok, bad humour sorry", he says throwing his hands in the air. He acts like a year old baby sometimes and it makes me to keep on wondering why I chose him as my next in command.
"Did you find anything useful at of them?", mom asked and I immediately knew who she was referring to.
"No. They were just hired to do the job and I know that El Diablo will not tell some street beggars about his plan", I say with a voice that is not appealing to the ear in a negative way.
"Don't let anything bother you dad, will we get them and make them pay for almost destroying our family", Andres says with anger and hatred laced in his voice.
I needed to leave with Andres because he said called for an emergency meeting saying he had something urgent to disclose to us. 'Us', I meant the members of our cartel and I but before I left, I made sure my dad took his drugs in my presence before leaving. I don't trust that sneaky old man when it comes to his health.
