Chapter 15

Joel's POV

Seeing the way she was in pain and at the same time losing blood brought up a feeling in me. During the time were we trained our men, I got to know her better and I started developing soft spot for her. There was a sprang of crush I felt but crew that I think I have started falling for her. I know that I too soon but whenever I look at the love between my dad and my mom, I can foreshore say that I have truly fallen deep for her.

For her courage, determination, strength, fearless, flaws and her beauty. And right now, if my heart can break more than a thousand pieces, it will have already because I really can't stand the way she closes her eyes in pain trying to keep herself together, it created a feeling that I have to take care of her with my life.

And that is what I will do with the first as calling the doctor to make her well because I really enjoy that strong and brave woman.

"Have you called the doctor", I asked for the tenth time.

"Yes, I have", Octavio replied with the same response for the tenth time also. Jennifer had already lost consciousness because she was losing too much blood and by the way Andres is driving the car, the journey that is meant to take 30 minutes will take 10 minutes.

We arrived at her family house safe and sound thankfully. I carried her in my arms and take her to her room through the directions made by Andres. The doctor was already there gratefully because I don't know what I will have done if she wasn't.

I placed her gently on the bed waiting for the doctor to start her job.

"I need you guys to please leave the room and let me do my job", she says.

"How can you tell us to leave the room? The energy you are using to talk, you will use it to treat my sister", Andres says with anger laced in his voice.

"We need to leave. No matter how we want to stay, we should let them do their job", I say even though I least want to leave this room.
