Yall I never thought this shit would happen to me. I cannot believe I'm saying this, but three weeks has gone by and I'm still at this nigga house. He's been treating me so well that I forgot my life in Indigo Falls.

Sax and my other clients have been calling me, but I never answer the phone. Deontay has my full attention and I like it. He made me forget about "my job" back at home. It's been exhilarating.

If he's not at work at the restaurant than he's at home chilling, with me. He's been showing me around this city and it's a sight to see. Can you believe that a bitch been hiking? Ha! The shit amazes me what he got me doing, but I'll do it with him. We not a full-blown couple, but I guess you can say that we've been Netflix and chilling for a minute.

He's a different kind of man. He actually takes the time to care about the little things about me, like what I'm wearing and seriously ask me if I'm doing okay. He listens to me and fully understands me.

We've been getting to know each other, and I learn from him that he's the middle child of three. One older sister who is a pure firecracker, and a younger brother who looks up to him dearly. Both parents are present in his life and they are crazy rich. His dad is a retire basketball player that setup a trust fund for his kids. His mom is just a housewife. No real job except taking care of them back in the day.

Deontay still has a million in his bank, but I don't understand why he wants to work when he has all that money.

"You have to make smart investments in order to get the shit you want in life" he says.

"I understand that much, but why work when you can just invest in Malcolm's restaurant?" I asked him.

"Cooking is my passion, and I enjoy it".

Whatever I always say. He works at the restaurant Monday-Friday but on Saturdays he likes to do stand-up comedy in the local clubs. Everyone seems to think he is hilarious, and he has these thirsty ass groupie bitches that be wanting his attention. But he ignores them all for me.

Maybe you can experience love twice in a row. He doesn't have any kids so no baby mama drama there. We have the same birthday, May 18th. He'll be 31 and I 27. Its in a few days so he's been planning something for the both of us.

I keep looking for shit that'll make me believe he's the bad guy but there's literally nothing bad about him. He's squeaky clean. Good niggas do exist I suppose.

I was at the house waiting for him to come home as usual and my phone rang.

Its him.

"Hey baby, are you doing okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm good just watching a little tv and eating snacks. By the time you get home, I'll be fat as hell".

He laughs through the phone.

"Baby I like everything about you, whether you're skinny or fat. Nothing will make me change my mind about you".

Yall see what I mean. He is literally the definition of perfect.

"So, I have a surprise for you later tonight" he says.

"You've surprised me enough with all these damn gifts and showing me off. You don't have to keep doing that Deon" I said.

I know baby, but your worth it. I got a dress for you to wear in the closet for tonight. I'm taking you on a date".

I blushed at this idea.

"At a restaurant or?" I asked.

"No, it's a Deon date. And don't ask what it is because it's a surprise" he laughs.
