Sorry that I've disappeared for a month.
My grandfather passed away out of nowhere, he was my best friend.
I didn't have the energy to write, but I just knew I had to, you guys deserve it.

Love you guys, enjoy this chapter. It starts off where we left last chapter, so if you don't remember go ahead and read that again first. xxx

After they had finished their breakfast Colson and Alexis cleaned up the dishes and kitchen, while Lily went to the bathroom to get herself ready for school. The little girl liked to feel independent, so she declined the help from her parents.

''So, how are you feeling?'' Colson asked, drying the clean dishes.

''Surprisingly good after last night. I'm glad you came by,'' she said, looking up at the tall lad and giving him a genuine smile, ''So, how are we going to deal with the Camila situation?''

''I already made some calls last night, love. I was too worked up to sleep. There's like an emergency meeting this morning to see what the management can do. You can join if you want to.''

Alexis nodded, since she thought it would be a good idea to be there for the meeting. That way she would have a say in it.

''Yeah, let me go get ready then,'' Alexis said, pecking Colson's lips.

Soon the three of them were walking towards Lily's school, the girl in between her parents, both of her hands holding one of her parents as she pulled them along, excited as ever. The playground was full of kids playing and parents talking.

Of course Colson's physical appearance got a lot of attention from the parents, giving them judging looks, but none of the three seemed to notice or care. Since it was Lily's official first day of school, since she had now turned 5, her parents were allowed to come with her to the classroom and introduced themselves to her teacher, Ms. Amber, who seemed intimidated by Colson, but tried to not let it show. Ms. Amber seemed like a very nice woman, she was in her late 20s.

After they had said goodbye to Lily, who didn't seem to mind that her parents were leaving – much to Alexis' relief – the two of them went to the studio for the meeting.

They were met with an unpleasant surprise however, there were a few paparazzi in front of the entranceway.

''D-do they know something already?'' Alexis said, a big frown making its way on her face as she started to shake. How could she ever explain her issues to the paparazzi? To the world? She could barely talk about it with Colson or Emma....

''I don't think so love, but I don't know for sure. Let's just walk past them and see. You can wear my sunglasses if you like,'' Colson said, holding up the pair he had been using while driving. Alexis took them immediately, she felt somewhat less exposed wearing them. Colson exited the car and opened Alexis' side as she hadn't made a move to do it yet. Colson figured that Alexis wouldn't want to hold his hand in public, so to say he was surprised when Alexis grabbed his hand was an understatement. Of course he didn't mind. As long as Alexis felt safe with him.

The paparazzi noticed them soon enough and took many pictures of them together.

''Is she your girlfriend?''

''Is this your daughter's mother?''

''When did you get back together?''

''What about Camila? Have you spoken to her?''

The name made Alexis' blood boil and she squeezed Colson's hand tightly to make sure she kept her mouth shut. On the other side she felt relieved, none of these questions were related to her issues, which meant they still had time to fix everything. Or at least she hoped.
