Colson and Alexis had a very good talk that day. Colson had finally had the guts to open up about his problems and had promised to be honest to Alexis.

Alexis in return promised to be there for him and not to judge. She was very serious though when it came to stating some rules. They agreed that smoking weed would be okay, during shows and other events. But of course never around Lily. It seemed obvious enough, but they have had a falling out about this earlier, so it felt good to mention it again. Other drugs weren't 'allowed', they were to addictive and unhealthy.

Both of them were very relieved that they had such a good chat. They spend the rest of the day at the park with Lily, since the weather was so great. It felt good to act like a normal family for once.

''I have a show next weekend. Would you and Lils like to come? I will play some of the new songs already, see if the audience digs it before we release the album.''

''Yeah sure, just have to check my schedule, but I would love to see you really perform.''

Alexis took in the beauty of the man next to her, the sun made his blue eyes and bleached hair stand out even more.

''What?'' Colson said with a smile.

''I never told you, but I really love your hair like this. The color and the length I mean. It suits you. Also the pierced nose, it's cool.''

''Wow, so many compliments! What did I do to deserve this?'' Colson said with his signature smirk playing around his lips.

''Oh shut up you! I can be nice. Now be grateful and compliment me back,'' Alexis said, punching his shoulder playfully.

''You know I think you are beautiful and amazing, when will you start to believe that?''

''Hmm, I do believe you, I think. But maybe you need to show me.'' Alexis had a teasing smile playing around her lips. She knew what she was doing.

Colson picked Alexis up with ease and sat her down on his lap on the park bench, her legs swung to the side. He grabbed her face, turned it towards him and kissed her softly.

''Ew, mommy, daddy!'' Lily said, covering her eyes. Apparently the girl had chosen this moment to come up to her mom and dad, right in the middle of a loving kiss. It wasn't much, since they were in the park and of course they weren't going to have a full on make out session in the park.

Alexis blushed and hid her face in Colson's chest, while he just laughed at his daughter.

''It's just mommy and daddy showing their love for each other, peach. Nothing weird about it, now come and give me a kiss, because I love you too.''

Lily climbed up on the bench and kissed her mommy and daddy.

''I love you, Lils.'' Alexis said as well to her daughter.

''I love you, mommy and daddy.''

Alexis was happy with their little family.

''Ignorant or dense? What's up with Colson's new girlfriend?

Colson has shared a couple pictures and videos of him with his new lover. Including the two of them on a date – and don't get us wrong; this girl is very pretty! But is there more to her than just a pretty face?

Fans are going crazy over the two lovers watching the movie Nerve; Colson filming her reaction when she realizes he is actually in this movie. Does she even know anything about him? Is she just in it for the money? What is going on?

Colson felt his blood boil. How dare they do this to them, to Alexis? How dare they make assumptions like this?

Colson thought the videos were cute, that's why he shared them. He had never expected this many hateful reactions.

''Lex, talk to me,'' Colson begged.

''What's there to talk about. I don't care. I don't care what they say about me, as long as you know the truth.'' Alexis threw her hair into a ponytail, before pulling on her boots and jacket.

Colson knew that Alexis did care. He knew her too well. That's why he wanted them to talk about it, but Alexis apparently wanted to pretend it didn't happen.

''I do know, Lex. But I also know this bothers you, so please...''

''I can't, I have to pick up Lily from school. I'll see you tonight, alright?''

Colson nodded and planted a small peck on her lips. He would've loved to come with her to pick up Lily, but unfortunately he had a meeting with his manager.

Alexis left the house quickly, so Colson wouldn't notice the tears in her eyes. Of course it bothered her that fans and magazines were saying horrible things about her. She had spend the last couple of years avoiding everything that had anything to do with Colson and with good reason. He had broken her heart, left her and their unborn baby, left while Matt was terribly sick and then he made it even worse by dating that witch and writing horrible songs about Alexis. 

All these fans and magazines had no idea what they were truly talking and judging about and that bothered her a lot.

On her way to the school, Alexis received a call. Seeing the number, she frowned. It was Lily's school. Alexis wasn't too late, so she wondered why they would call her now, just 15 minutes before school was out. What was it that couldn't wait 15 minutes.

''Hi, this is Alexis Carter speaking.''

''Hello Mrs. Carter, this is Mrs. Davis, principle of Camden Primary School. I am calling about Lily, she has had an accident.''
