Dread pooled in the lower part of my stomach as I approached the familiar building of the school.

San had started showing up to classes, it didn't ease me that the only class he was regular in was Math. Wooyoung agreed to keep me company during Math to prevent any incident with San for which I was grateful.

Along with the nauseating dread I felt, an itching curiosity grew. With San. We had come to dead end with our theories as to why San was after me. Yeosang made it a personal mission of his to figure out the missing pieces, despite Seonghwa's protests. His curiosity piqued my interest too as I mentally slapped myself countless times when I thought of confronting San.

My mind constantly pondered over the what ifs?

I knew I would put myself directly in the face of danger if I confronted him. However, Death was probably going to come to me anyway.

I had nothing to lose.

As I entered the classroom, the nausea heightened. San sat in his usual spot, two seats in front and right of mine, head bent over the open book in front of him. I swallowed before shuffling to my seat, silently praying for Wooyoung to make an appearance.

The bell had sounded yet Wooyoung had not appeared, even when Mrs. Acker walked in. The entire lesson went by, yet no sign of Wooyoung. I sent him a text while Mrs. Acker faced the board.

My eyes settled on San's figure in front of me, diligently taking notes. A big contrast from his rebellious appearance two weeks ago.

Spectacles balanced over the slope of his nose, the vintage kind. Brows scrunched together as he chewed his lips, focusing diligently on the lecture.

I must have a certain death wish if I found him attractive in the slightest but it wasn't false. He was. I shook my head at the thought.

You really do have one, Aurora.

I furtively brought my phone out from under the my book, checking for any response from Wooyoung. None.

Weird. Wooyoung was almost always active.

Sighing my eyes flitted over to San again. The same curiosity slowly rose. Now that Wooyoung wasn't here, Seonghwa would probably be busy with his classes, so would Mingi, I just might have an opportunity to get some answers.

The image of the boy from my memory flashed through my mind. Face still blurry. He came to me one too many times in my dreams, the aura powerful. Too powerful.

I should be wary but curiosity always got the best of me.

The bell sounded signalling the end of class, snapping me out of my thoughts. San had already packed up, heading out, poker face on. I shoved my things into my bag, following behind.

He exited the school building and I contemplated whether ditching school altogether was even worth it. Something told me getting answers was going to be tough, but possible through San.

I secured my bag, turning on my heels as I walked out the building. He made a turn at the corner, wearing the hood part of his hoodie.

All deaths are alike I suppose.

I slowly trailed behind him just as he turned right from the next corner. I half expected him to either dissipate or at least use a car. Walking had already tired me out, I wondered how they did it in the movies.

I jogged towards the corner, turning to find a dead end. Shit!

"Well I certainly didn't expect to be followed at this time of the day, let alone by you Princess. " San smirked, hands shoved into his hoodie.
