Threepeater is a recurring character with the plant's vs zombies franchise. Like peashooter, they are a peashooter plant who fires peas in front of them, but can also fires peas in the lanes above and below. Threepeater first appearance was the original plant's vs zombies game as most of the Chinese spin off games based on it. In this game, they are unlocked after being level 3-2 and fires three peas, one in their lane and one in row above them and below them. Threepeater is the most expensive non upgraded plant in the game. The threepeater cost 325 sun in order to use them.

Plant's vs Zombies 2:

Threepeater returns in plant's vs zombies 2, now being 25 sun cheaper compared to the first game and is unlocked after beating Pirate seas day 14. Threepeater faces competition in this game from dust lobber and apple mortar, both cheaper than it with additional effects along with attacking 3 lanes like they do. Dust lobber however needs another plant to achieve this with apple mortar is a premium plant, giving threepeater some advantages over time.

Plant's vs Zombies Heroes:

Threepeater latest appearance is the turn based mobile card game in plant's vs zombies's heroes as a basic common plant in the smarty class. They cost 5 sun, have 1 attack and 5 health status and their ability is like the mainline games, attacking in its lanes and those adjacent to it, similar to the splash damage trait, except all their shots can hit the zombie hero. Due to its cost and class, threepeater can struggle to find use in most decks, to the point that they are usually only usable in Green shadow decks with the help of Torchwood and the Podfather to raise its low 1 strength to something higher and more efficient.
