Melon-pult

Melon-pult is a recurring character of plants vs zombies franchise. Melon pult lobs hard hitting melons that deal heavy damage to the target zombies and heavy splash to those around the target, due to lobbing, also avoid zombie shields. Melon pult is the middle child of the pult brothers, as confirmed in plants vs zombies 2 being the older brother of cabbage pult and the younger brother of kernel pult. The melon pult can be upgraded to the winter melon which can do the same amount of damage but now when the melon can hit it will freeze the group of zombies.

In plant's vs zombies 2 back in time, the player and Dave are in the wild west and have gotten an old plant that is melon pult and he cost more than the first game. The melon pult has stronger range/splash damage. While not being able to be upgraded to the winter melon which is a separate plant. The melon pult is given the plant food ability that is turned into a mortar cannon and fires a barrage of giant melons that separate into four waves targeting all zombies and tomb stones on screen.

While being an member of the smarty class. It cost 5 sun to play and has 3(attack) and 4(health). It has the splash damage 3 trait that will hit the left and right lane if zombies are their as well.
