Chapter 11- 11 hours in (the final hour)

I see my sister's fiancé point his gun at my sister and I go up and wrap my arms around Alexys, her arms around Lauren. They couldn't hurt my sisters.

"Aww, does the asshole need to go cry to his mom about his slutty sisters getting killed? Wow you're such a baby----"

"Shut up Meagan and put your gun down. If you shoot, we're done," Pete yells at her.

"But you'll only coming crawling back to m-----"

"Cut your bullshit Meagan," I hear behind me. A female voice. I turn around, letting go of my sisters to see Elisa Stump pointing her gun at Meagan.

"I thought you were a part of us, Elisa. Well now, you're on the list to die," Leo says, pointing his gun at her, "say goodbye now."

"Goodbye," Patrick says, lifting his gun at him, Stormy's arm wrapped around his left shoulder. (A/N anyone get the movie reference? No? Okay. *backs away before people start interrogating me what it is*)

"Oh so now you're gonna be the protector of your wife. I'd like to see you try," Leo says, pointing his gun at him.

I see Lauren run over and whisper something into Patrick's ear, Stormy overhearing this, her hand hovering over her mouth at this.

My eyes widen at what she said, since I was there when it happened.

"I'd like to see you try after you've cheated on your fiancé a poly numeral times!" Patrick sasses back.

|Alexys Rivera-First Person|

My eyes widen at Patrick's statement, my anger towards not only Leo but Patrick for not keeping his mouth shut.

I turn towards Leo, "what do you mean, you've cheated on me a poly numeral amount of times? You told me you would never cheat on me the first time we met, ha! You broke that promise prom night, with Alex's ex girlfriend, Rosemary. You remember Carter and Alex, don't you?"

Jackpot, I hit his weakness point.

"Oh you little bitch! You cheated on me with that dick, Pete over there!" He yells, attempting to slap me in the process but myself twisting his hand.

"He raped your sister!" Stormy yells, making my anger heat up.

"What is she talking about? You know I wouldn't do this, right?-----"

"Not worth telling lies, Leo," I interrupt him.

"Well maybe your friend Stormy over there isn't worth living," he says, making my eyes widen. I see him point his gun at Stormy and pull the trigger, Christian coming out of nowhere and bringing out a shield made out of what looked like copper, protecting Stormy. This made Stormy look up at my brother and hugged him.

"Chris, where you'd get that?"

"Bought it before the purge started," he replies.

I see Leo point his gun at Patrick and pull the trigger. And suddenly, I felt like the world went into slow motion, Elisa jumping in front of Patrick, the bullet, piercing her in the abdomen. My hands come across my mouth, as I rush over to Patrick's side, where Elisa stood.

And that's when the horn rang, ending the purge. Leo left along with Meagan, hoping they wouldn't get caught.

|Lauren Rivera-First Person|

I run over, trying to grab my medicine bag from my side. I had to help this guy's, Patrick I believe his name was, wife from dying.

I go by Patrick's side, looking him in the eyes, and trying to take the bullet out of her and apply medicine.

"Please hurry! We're losing her!" Patrick yells, panicked (a/n hehe, reference)

I take out the bullet as soon as I can, but to no avail.

Elisa died on the day of the purge, trying to save her husband.

"She wanted me to be happy, but how can I if we live in a world in murder and darkness, fearing we might be the next ones?" Patrick asks through tears of sadness, making me want to cry even more than I already was, the well worded words and the truth about this world.

And our group felt as if the world had just crashed down on us, torturing us for everything we did and failed to do.
