TROYE'S P.O.V

It was about 2 more hours of exploring around until my stomach growled. I was getting so hungry, and I was surprised I was the only one. Maybe I was just the only one to admit it. Anyways, I can't walk any further without food.

"Tyyyyyy," I whined, clinging to his arm, "Im hungry."

"I am too, I was afraid to say anything. Plus, I thought we would be back at the hotel by now," He shook his head, pointing towards Zalfie and Janya, "What are they planning on doing anyways? Just walking around?"

I just shrugged. "I guess."

I quickly sped up my waking to tap on Alfie's shoulder. "Alfie," I whined, not getting a response yet. "Allfiiiee," I continued, slightly irritated this time. "ALFRED DEYES." I yelled in his year when he still didn't notice, but he did now, him jumping back quickly and turning to look over his shoulder at me.

"What?!" He hissed at me. What's gotten into him? I went next to Zoe then, asking her about it.

"Is Alfie okay?" I questioned curiously raising an eyebrow.

"He's fine," she giggled, "He's just really really tired from jet lag." I guess that would explain why he didn't hear me- he was probably not in any right mindset to be talking to anyone. Once Zoe pointed out his fatigue, it became more noticeable- the way his eyes were drooping downwards into the dark circles that formed beneath them, his slouching figure, dragging his feet while his hands hung low by his sides, swaying ever so slightly.

"Anyways, I'm hungry. Can we pleeease stop somewhere for food?"

Zoe chuckled. "Fine." I slowed down to walk next to Tyler again.

The six of us stopped at a cute little café down the road that specialized in sandwiches. The bell rung when we walked in and we sat at a booth near the back of the restaurant. It was surprisingly empty, only a few old couples here, and personally, I thought it was adorable. I sat next to Tyler on the end.

"Hey," said the awfully peppy waiter. He was tall, and good looking, sorta like the kind of guy Tyler would pick up from a club, "Can I start you off with a drink?" I noticed how not-so-subtly he was staring at Tyler. Everyone answered with drinks of their choice, and then there was Tyler, who answered last.

"Uhh... I'll just have a water thanks," Ty answered, awkwardly cracking his knuckles under the table.

"Sounds good guys. I'll be back in a minute," the waiter who I now marked as 'unpleasant' responded, still only staring at Tyler. He spun around to leave, though only after winking at Ty and saying, "See you around."

He blushed once the waiter left, not only confused that he managed to pull a blush out of thee Tyler Oakley, but also feeling jealous because I thought I was the only one who could manage that. Alfie whistled, "Looks like Tyler's got himself a love interest." He looked down, continuously cracking every bone in his hands, and I could tell he was feeling anxious. He always cracks his bones when he's anxious.

"Not really. I mean. He's hot and all. But. I don't know. I'm not interested into that type," Tyler looked up again, though still not quite in their eyes, he was too nervous to face them dead on and I could tell he's really uncomfortable. I grabbed his hand underneath the table, intertwining our fingers, suddenly feeling not only dominant at the thought of someone else laying their hands on my Tilly, my best friend, but also feeling the need to comfort him. He took a deep breath and relaxed noticeably.

"What is your Type then?" Zoe asked Tyler. He shook his head looking down at our intertwined hands and shrugged.

Even though I hated the waiter, I have never been more glad of his arrival because Tyler was clearly not comfortable with the conversation. "Here are your drinks," I read the waiter's name tag as he leaned over me to place the drinks on the table, noting his name is 'Mason', "Have you decided what you want to eat?"

We ordered our food and once Mason left we thankfully didn't continue on our previous conversation. Instead we talked about the excitement and chaos of VidCon, an occurring topic around this time of year.

The waiter arrived without anymore flirting, probably noticing our handholding underneath the table so he decided to back off. The food was surprisingly good, though it probably only was that good because of how hungry I was.

We went straight back to the hotel after, exhaustion heavily blanketing us once we finished our eating. The walk was short, Tyler and I's hands still intertwined for no reason at all. It was just comforting.

Once we departed and went to our separate rooms, I landed on the bed with a loud thud and fell right asleep, barely kicking off my shoes.
