TROYE'S P.O.V

I woke up groggily the next day, and took in my surroundings. Oh shit. VidCon starts today! I rushed to get ready, picking up a pair of denim jeans and just a black t-shirt and slipping them on. I grabbed my phone and checked the time, my first meet up is in 1 hour.

I quickly did my quiff, ashamed that I didn't wake up earlier to have more time to style it. Left with 40 minutes to spare, I ran out the door, made it to the convention centre, and to my meet up 5 minutes early, considering I got lost along the way.

The meetup lasted about 2 hours and I was so thankful it was over now because I was really starting to get hungry. Why the fuck did I think it was a good idea to skip breakfast? Oh yeah. Because I was in a hurry. I decided to text Tyler to ask what he was doing for Lunch.

Troye: Yooooo, what are you up to?

Tilly <3: I'm in a panel right now, but it's over in half an hour. Why?

Troye: I have nothing to do until two, wanna get some lunch?

Tilly <3: Mmkay, can Zo come?

Troye: Yeah :)

About 30 minutes later, I met Tyler and Zoe in the hotel lobby.

"Where do you wanna go?" I asked the two of them.

"Taco Bell!" Tyler exclaimed excitedly.

"I don't really care to be honest," Zoe remarked, chuckling a bit at Tyler's animated response.

And so we were off.

We made it to the fast food restaurant and ordered our food, picking a table next to the window.

"So how was your meet up?" Zoe asked taking a bite of her burrito.

"Pretty good. Some of the girls at fucking crazy though," I responded.

"Understandable," Zoe replied.

I spotted a familiar shag of dark hair from across the restaurant, sitting with his back facing me. I know that hair. But from where? I can't put my finger on it. Maybe if he just turned his head a little...

I gasped when I recognized him, Shrinking down into my chair. Now is not the time. Now is definitely not the time.

"Troye, are you okay? You look a little pale." Tyler asked looking down at me, though I still didn't look up at him. My eyes glued to the back of Ryan's head.

I don't want to talk to Ryan again. I don't want to see him again. I don't want anything to do with the muscular guy sitting across the restaurant from me. "Who is that?" Tyler questioned when I still didn't reply, though I felt his hand glide into my own and I relaxed a bit. "Troye."

"I think we should go." Zoe spoke, standing up and taking our taco trays to the nearest trash can, emptying off the leftover garbage. Tyler stood up, though I didn't, resulting in him having to tug me up by our intertwined hands.

"Timtam, babe. We have to go." I stood up on my own finally, but my eyes were still stuck onto Ryan until...

Oh shit. He's standing up. He's approaching me. He's-

"Hey Troye." The annoying tanned man spoke in what he thought sounded like a seductive tone. "Fancy seeing you here." He winked, then looked down at Tyler and I's intertwined hands. An obvious displeasure coated his face when he noticed I was holding hands with someone. "Who's this?" He asked gruffly.

Tyler stepped forward in front of me, not letting go of my hand. "I'm Tyler Oakley, and who are you?" He questioned unimpressed.

"What's it matter to you?" Ryan snorted, amused that someone 7 inches shorter than him was trying to challenge him.

Tyler, however, completely ignored Ryan. "How do you know Troye? Because you're obviously making him completely uncomfortable."

"Chill, we met at the airport, sat next to each other, shared cookies, he laid his head on my-" I couldn't hear any more of it.

"Ryan. Please leave me alone." I spoke some-what loudly, looking down at my feet. I could feel tears starting to prick at the back of my eyes.

"Babe. Don't be like that." He reached out his hand tentatively to grab my arm, but Tyler stopped him.

"You heard the boy. Leave him alone." Tyler snapped at Ryan, squeezed my hand tighter, and stormed out of the restaurant, dragging me with Zoe close behind.

We walked back to the hotel, Tyler trying to calm his breathing. "Thanks, Tilly." I whispered quietly near his ear once we reached the building. I squeezed his hand tightly and hugged his arm to me before releasing completely to start walking to my next panel starting in roughly half an hour.

"You're welcome, Timtam." He smiled at me, slightly dazed, and I turned around to continue walking.
