First off, thank you for clicking on this book and deciding to read it. (I hope I'll actually end up finishing this one, since I seem to struggle with that, but whatever, yolo right?) This book is a Downton Abbey and Peaky Blinders crossover, where Naomi Shelby, sister of Arthur, Thomas, John, Ada and Finn, finds work there at Downton as a maid, with a lot of help from Polly. Obviously, she wants to hide her past from everyone, but as her brothers set out on a mission to find her and bring her back home to Small Heath that seems a little trickier than she first thought.
Secondly, I'd like to say that this crossover isn't my original idea, but I haven't seen any finished books that do this sort of thing, or many at all, so I thought I'd try myself and see how it goes. If you are reading this and want credit for any work that shares a similar sort of plot or any ideas you think have been stolen, I assure you they haven't. But, you can just comment and I'll tag you in this chapter here, so people can go check out your work.
Thirdly, I'm also not claiming either the Peaky Blinders show or characters, nor the Downton Abbey show or characters, although the character Naomi Shelby is my own cannon character that I have created so please don't steal her away from me (she is all I have left in this crisis, lmao please.) This is just a fanfiction, I am a fan of both shows and am making a piece of fiction for fun, I'm not claiming rights to any of it.
There will be strong language in this book, and possibly more, but if you're old enough to watch Peaky Blinders (which is an 18) then you're probably old enough to read a book.
