Chapter 13

Ally's Pov

Right now i'm sitting in an Uber to our new house thinking about what it's gonna be like.

Will it be big?

Are we going to get any animals other then horses?

Will there be a pool?

How many bedrooms are there?

Is there more then one floor?

How many stalls are in the stable?

Is there a big kitchen?

That last thought made me hungry.

I'm pretty sure that the house is gonna be big, when Catherine talked about it she said that they bought the property because they liked the house and when she talked about the stable it kind of sounded like it was just an extra thing in the yard, so it's either the house is pretty big, or the stable is pretty small.

I hope it's the first one.

Considering the way Jason acts, it probably is.

We've been in the car for what seems like forever, i guess people weren't lying when they said that L.A. traffic was really long.

Maybe i'll take a nap, yea i know, i already slept on the plane, but what else can i do right now?

Talk to Jason?

Yea, not happening.

It doesn't even feel like the car is moving right now.

Yea, i'm definitely taking a nap.

" Ally, Ally wake up. We're here" Catherine says.

" Huh?" I reply half asleep.

" we're at the house"

"What?" I say, still sleepy.

" We're in California at the new house."

" Oh- wait we are?" I ask, fully awake now.

" Yes Ally" Catherine says with a laugh," you slept through most of the car ride but we're her now. Also i think that the driver has somewhere he needs to be"

" Sorry, i started to get tired" I say

" It's nothing to be sorry of, do you need any help getting out of the car?"

" It's fine, i got it."

I tell Barnaby to get out of the car and once he does i put my hand on his back to make sure that i don't fall.

"Thanks boy" i say to him.

" C'mon Ally, Lets go explore the house!"  A very excited Catherine says.

" ok, ok, i'm coming" I say with a smile.

She starts leading me in the direction of the house and when we walk through the front doors i feel a blast of AC.

" Finally" Catherine says sarcastically "The heat was going to kill me"

She is kind of right though, it was pretty hot outside.

I don't think that anyone was going to die, but Catherine loves to be dramatic.

Probably because she's an actor.

" Mooooom" Jason whines," wheres my room? This stuff is SO heavy."

Last i remember, Jason was only carrying a backpack.

" You can go upstairs and pick any you like." Catherine informs him.

" Why can't i have one downstairs?" he complains.
