Harry Potter and The Familiar

a huge update

     Hello everyone! As I sit here and write this, I have to think about the history of this account. I started this in 6th grade. I will be a senior in high school next August. That means I've been here for almost 6 years! That's crazy to think about.
     A lot has changed in just 5 years. I've grown. I've matured. I've become unsatisfied with the quality of my life. I don't wake up excited anymore. I don't wake up wanting to see the world. I want to roll over and sleep some more. I don't want that anymore. So, I'm changing that. I'm doing this through a series of challenges, and hopefully by the end, I will be happier and will hopefully have somewhat of a "glowup" mentally. The physical part comes much later.
     You may wonder, what does this account and Wattpad have to do with any of this? Truth is, it's the writing. I will always love to write, it's a nice escape. But it isn't my end goal, to be a writer. One of the challenges I'm doing will be an ode to the 6th grade me.
     This account started off as a fanfiction account. My most popular stories are a part of the Harry Potter fandom. I plan on rewriting what I have already written and completing them, some time in 2020. I will also be rebranding the name of this account as well. It's time to say goodbye to @haiderharry. An iconic name that will always be remembered but every good thing must come to an end. Hopefully an even better one will come. As you know, I have a second account @thedarkwriteroflife. Ew, what a cringey name. I'll be rebranding that account to become my official original works home during the summer of 2020 and rewriting and completing any works that I have in progress. The goal is to have finished atleast 3 WIPs before summer ends. It's a big goal, but I know I will do it.
     I'm primarily working on that account first, and then will return to this one. I've essentially been a ghost here. I'm very sorry for that. I will soon update this page with a timeline as to what will occur here. I want to thank each and every single one of you for the joy you have given to me over the years and I hope you will continue to stay with me in the future.
