We finally finished up with all the preparations to transfer over my language skills into Baymax. The hard part was coming up next, where I had to pull all the languages from my memory and hope for the best.
Suddenly Tadashi stops in mid sentence and says, "He's home!" He rushes over to Baymax and makes sure he's folded up back in the red box. Then he picks it up and hides it near his bed.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"I want Baymax to be a surprise later on to my brother! Once he's pretty much finished then I'll show it to him" Tadashi replied, "so try not to say anything"
Suddenly the door swings open. It's a younger boy around the age of thirteen. He's scrawny and has a mess full of black hair. If it was shorter he'd look a lot similar to Tadashi--or that's what I think.
He looks at me and says, "So Aunt Cass says you're Tadashi's girlfriend? I honestly thought he was going to be forever alone"
"HIRO!" Tadashi yells, "She's not my girlfriend! Why is everyone thinking that!?"
"I'm Ellie" I say smiling.
Hiro walks over and shakes my hand, "Ohhhh, so YOU'RE Ellie" He glances at an angry Tadashi and continues, "I'm Hiro Hamada, the smarter brother"
I look over at Tadashi and giggle. I could see him rolling his eyes. He looks at both us and mumbles, "Unbelievable"
Hiro turns back to me and says, "So if you're not his girlfriend, what are you doing here?"
"Oh umm..." I look at Tadashi, but he doesn't seem in the mood anymore so I improvise and say, "I was helping your brother design some new inventions"
"Wait what? Let me see!" Hiro says excitedly.
I walk over to my bag and pull out my sketch book. "I'm not much of a scientist-builder type person but I like to draw..." I say, nervously handing him my sketchbook.
I could see Tadashi look over quickly when I easily handed Hiro my sketchbook.
Hiro flipped through the pages with wide eyes, "Ellie, these are really incredible, you know? Especially this one; using the iron in cereal containing the ferric oxide to have a magnetic charge; brilliant"
I blush a little bit, "Thank you" I could hear Tadashi plop on his bed. "Did you just come from school?" I ask Hiro.
"Yeah, high school is so boring" He says sighing, jumping onto his computer chair.
"Oh yeah? Are you a freshman?"
He looks over at me and smiles. I could hear Tadashi groan. "Tadashi didn't tell you? I'm graduating high school this year at thirteen"
"What!?" I spin my head towards Tadashi for confirmation. He has his hands on his nose like he has a headache, I turn back to Hiro, "That's amazing Hiro! You're the brilliant one, not me"
"Thanks Ellie, it's not that big of a deal though" He says, shrugging his shoulders.
"Are you kidding me? I was an idiot in High school; I never paid attention to anything. All I did was doodle in class everyday, although my favorite class' were chemistry and art; the only classes I actually listened to"
Suddenly Tadashi chimes in with, "Oh? You sure are talking a lot for someone who's usually shy"
I blush angrily. Who got him so pissed off?
"Calm down Tadashi" Hiro replies, almost as if he's enjoying it. I was confused at what was going on; I'm guessing sibling rivalry.
I walk over to their book shelf and spot a bunch of old video games, "You guys have Super Smash Brothers!? And Mario Kart?" I said with a little bit too much excitement.
"Oh, you think you're good at video games, Ellie?" Hiro questions slyly.
I smile competitively, "Oh, I know I'm good"
"It's on!" He says grabbing the game and sets everything up.
I look over at Tadashi laying on his bed, "Do you wanna play, Tadashi?"
He rolls over on his side so his back is facing our way, "No, I think I'll take a nap"
"Don't mind him Ellie, he's just grumpy for SOME strange reason that I wouldn't know of" Hiro says smirking.
"Ok?" I reply, very confused.
"Unbelievable" Tadashi pouts and pulls his blankets over him.
I walk over to Hiro and sit on the edge of his bed next to him. We start playing Mario kart and at first I act like I'm not good; I stay in twelfth place for the first two laps.
"Oh Ellie, you really thought you were good huh?" Hiro says, teasingly.
"Wait for it" I smile, mischievously.
Suddenly I grab a bullet and zoom up to sixth place where I grab another item. I get a blue shell, and of course Hiro is in first; just as I planned. I ride up to second place, quickly passing the CPUs, and give myself some distance behind Hiro before I release my blue shell.
Hiro picks up what I'm about to do and yells, "NOOOOO--" but it's too late. The blue shell has been released and Hiro explodes right before the end of the third lap. Not only do I pass him and get first, but the CPUs pass him as well making him get seventh place.
At the moment I was laughing so loud and evilly and Hiro just lightly shoves me with his shoulders, "REMATCH!"
After a few games of me butt kicking at Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers, it got late and I new it was time to go back home.
"Sorry Hiro, I best be going now" I say ruffling his hair.
"Do you have to? I have some more video games, I could totally beat you at!" Hiro says, punching the air.
"I would love to stay longer, but I got an early class tomorrow and need some sleep"
"Alright..." He says, pouting.
He was so cute; I gave him a quick hug, "Don't worry, I'll probably be back soon"
"Okay, bye Ellie, I'm going to go get a snack, thanks for hanging with me" He then leaves the room and heads downstairs.
I pack up all my stuff and look over at Tadashi. He was still sleeping with his back towards me.
I walk over to him and softly touch his shoulder, "Sorry about today" I whisper, "I hope you're not mad at me, or...if I did anything wrong, I'm really sorry. I don't want you to hate me"
I didn't see any awaking movements from him so I started to walk out of his room. I walk downstairs and passed by Hiro near the fridge, "Bye Hiro" I whisper, waving.
Hiro looks at me confused, "You didn't wake Tadashi?"
"Well I sort of tried; not really. It doesn't matter, I'll let him sleep"
I continued to walk down the stairs and headed for the front door. I opened it and I suddenly heard fast footsteps coming from the steps. I turn around with the front door opened with my hand; maybe Hiro forgot something.
"Wait!" It was Tadashi's voice.
