Hey guys, it's been a while that I have updated on the book, but the next chapter is coming soon! Until then, I have decided to make a deleted scene thing. In this, was originally was after (Y/n) woke up and told Walten about her locket, in chapter 4 part 2.
Walten had decided to walk around a bit and found an old radio upstairs and finds out it still works.
(Y/n) was still feel guilty, for everything that had transpired, so when a song came up, Walten was determined to get a smile on her face. I hope you enjoy.
3ed POV
Walten and (Y/n) sat quietly, unsure what to do.
Walten was processing on the new information was given to him about (Y/n) and her locket. If what she said about her locket being her life force, then, if anything that happened to it....
Walten shook his as the thought, refusing to even think about it. He turned his blue eyes towards (Y/n), staring at the fure with almost tired and bloodshot eyes, probably from crying silently. There was a visible tear trail along her cheeks, a bit dried off.
"Hey, I'm going to venture around the house for a while. Want to come?" Walten stood up, showing (Y/n) a smile.
But to Walten's dismay, (Y/n) shook her head with a sad forced smile. "No, I'm good. You can go on ahead."
Walten took a second before nodding his and started to venture throughout the house. Most of the rooms were covered in dust and a strange metallic smell swelled around his senses, causing his to huff through his nose.
Blood, it was faint, but it smell like it was here for a while.
Walten turned a knob from a door that was from the other side of the kitchen, a closet filled with cleaning supplies and other stuff. Amongst the stuff, a old radio catches Walten's eyes.
He runs his pawed hand across the surface, wiping of the layers of dust off. Walten sneezed as some of the dust floated up to him. Walten sniffs before picking up the radio and out of the kitchen, towards (Y/n). "(Y/n), look what I have found."
"What is it?" (Y/n) asked as Walten placed down the radio on the table in front of her.
"It's an old radio. A couple years old to be honest, but it looks like it's perfect shape." Walten says as he plugged in the radio, it stutters to life as music mixed with static enters through out the house. Walten started fiddling with it until clear music entered the speakers. "Well, look at that. It's working like a charm." Walten said as he sways to classical music before looking back at (Y/n).
She looked at the radio in slight amazement, but, there was still sadness in her expression.
Walten hums as his face fixes into slight worry before it was replaced with a smile and an idea. "Hey, want to dance?"
(Y/n)'s eyes widen as a questionable blush erupted on her face, "Huh?" She muttered, dumbfounded.
"I know you are still feeling down on what happened, I just thought that.... Augh! Why is it so hard to ask her?!" Walten freaked out as he started talking to myself as he felt his face and ears to heat up.
(Y/n) panicked as she lunge to comfort her friend. "It's alright! I actually don't mind. I-if you want to."
Walten looked at her, still red in the face, before a small smile stitches nervously. "Of course. Well.... May I have this dance, m'lady?" Walten says as he got up and stretches out his hand for (Y/n), who lightly laughed at his gentleman approach.
