Part V: Outside

It had been a week since the hooting and the girl still hadn't awakened from the shock of it all. She wasn't able to walk to streets of San Fransokyo at night. Afraid to turn the corners of the city. But most of all, she wasn't able to be in public, in large crowds of people.
The girl was afraid the shooter the shooter would recognize her and try to kill her. Taking her away from the world and the boy.

But he'd always continue to be there for her.

The boy stayed with her. The boy's brother would occasionally com by to drop groceries off or bring his brother his daily needs from home, but he hadn't left her side for a week. And he didn't plan too.

But forever is a short time.

"I think it's time you get some air, you've been in doors for days with the curtains closed." The boy carefully placed his dishes into the sink. The girl didn't reply, she was too busy poking at her eggs.
"We could go to the park. Or hey, lets visit Aunt Cass, I'm sure shes worried about you. " The girl rises from her seat, shes still dressed in her pajamas from the day before, with a (favorite color or/and pattern) snuggie on.
"No?" The girl shuffles away from the kitchen table with no response.
"_____, at least clean up your plate." She ignored him and continued on into her living room of her condo.
"Are you sure your not hungry?"
The girl shook her head and throw her quilted blanket over her head. The boy returned to the kitchen and washed the dishes.
"We should go out, just some where. I think it's time you go out."
"But... I can't, Tadashi." The girl cried, the boy hurried to sit by her,"I can't leave he will find me and when he does-"
"I'll be there to save you. I'll be here for you." He promised, he rose from him side of the couch and grabbed his riding helmet and the girl's (color and design) helmet.

"Come on, let's go on a ride." The boy mentioned with a nod of his head.

"I'm not going in this, Tadashi." She pointed out to her outfit and crossed her arms.

"Then I'll carry you up stairs." The boy padded over to the girl and picked her up over his shoulder.

"Wha- Tadashi!" She cried kicking her legs up.

"The wind feels great on my face and my hair, wow, its amazing ." The girl released her arm from her grasp around the boy's chest.

"Careful, you're going to fall off."

"But I've done this a million times. I forgot how great this was." She latched back on to the boy's chest and leaned closer into him. The boy smiles and turned the corner. The girl took her time looking around. Of course she's lived in San Fransokyo for a couple months, but she still couldn't get over the vibrant colors of the buildings.

"So where are we going?"

"Well, were do you want to go? Today's all yours."

"You probably miss Cass and Hiro, to Lucky Cat? Then we could try ice cream?" The girl could feel him chuckle.

"Alright, to Lucky Cat Café." He turned the gas on the handle and the couple was off.
