Ally rolls on to her side and clicks on her phone. Ten thirty, Audrey would have locked herself in her room by now. Ally slips out of the spare bedroom Audrey forced her into, and down the hall to where she thinks Jamie is staying. She Knocks on the door, trying not to wake anyone else. The door opens to reveal Jamie who looks like he hasn't even attempted to sleep.
"Umm, hi?" He says, obviously confused.
"I need to talk to you about Tj." Ally says her voice low. She pushes past him and locks the door before he can react.
"Tj?" he asks.
"Talysa." Ally answers.  Jamies face lights up with understanding.
"She's up-to no good." Ally continues "But I don't know what it is, or when it is, or where it is."
"So you don't know anything." Jamie asks suspiciously.
"Yup."
"I know that Somthing is happening at eleven thirty, tonight."
"Do you know where?"
"No. And how did you know, that I know that your friends up to Somthing?"
"I saw you glaring at her." Ally responds with her signature
matter-of-fact tone.
"Anyway, Tj is still at the institute, so when she leaves we'll just follow her." Ally says thinking her plan is fool proof
"What if she sees us?
"She won't." Ally says her voice filled with confidence. They spend the next half an hour planing and Ally thinks silently to herself. I'm finally going to get to the bottom of this.

Talysa stares at the bland celling, waiting for time to tick over. Finally her phone alarm goes off, telling her it's eleven o'clock and time to sneak out. Silently, Talysa gathers her stuff, sneaks quietly out the door and into the cool night air. She sees Grace walking towards her moments later.
"You ready?" Grace nods, but stays silent. As they walk Talysa can't help but feel like they're being watched. Stop being paranoid, there's no one there. Mabey I'm just nervous. As they approach they the warehouse, from all those days ago, Grace finally speaks up.
"The demon is strong, I won't be able to contain it for as long as Vincent might hope."
"Are you scared." Talysa teases, trying to lighten the mood. Grace smiles for a split second, but as fast as it came, it disappeared.
"I would be lying If I said I wasn't." They continue into the warehouse. A Comftable scilence resting in the air.
"You came five minutes early." Vincent's voice echos around the warehouse. "Your lucky everything is prepared."
"Your lucky we came at all." Talysa mutters.
"Here's the pentagram." Vincent says motioning to the floor. Talysa looks at it, it's been drawn on with white chalk, and not even drawn well, the lines are wonky, there's spots where there isn't any chalk at all. Talysa is speechless. It honestly looks like a five year olds drawn it.
"I can't summon a demon in that." Grace says sounding disgusted.
"You have the artistic talent of a pug." Talysa watches as Grace flicks her wrist and the chalk vanishes.

Grace starts to redraw the pentagram. Ten minutes later, it's finished.
"The one he drew was an eyesore." Talysa whispers to Grace.
"I know." She replies. Grace looks up from the pentagram to see Vincent glaring at them.
"No more stalling, summon it." Grace takes a few breaths and steps away from Talysa. Within moments a demon is standing inside the pentagram, it looks almost human.
"Welcome, to earth." Vincent says with a welcoming smile.
"Why have you summoned me here?" It's voice bellows. Grace sees Talysa flinch.
"I need your assistance. And I have Somthing for you in return." Vincent replies.
The demon speaks again and this time Grace knows why Talysa flinched.
"What could you ever give me, that would be worth my time." It's voice sends searing pain through Grace's head, causing her to almost release the demon. I definitely can't hold this for much longer. Grace sends a pleading look towards Talysa.
"Mabey you could hurry this up." Talysa says, sass dripping from her voice. Vincent raises a finger, signaling for her to be silent.
"I offer you free rain on this world, after I have done what I need." Vincents voice sounds triumphant. The demon laughs
"I like your spirit." It says, then it turns to face Grace.
"Stupid warlock, you think you can hold me!" It puts it's hand out, to touch the barrier but jumps back in surprise. A large burn mark now covered it's left hand.
"Ouch." Its voice was drained of  emotion. Before Grace could react it had ran out of the pentagram. Grace stood there frozen, and dazed from the protection breaking so suddenly. The demon stood before her, burns covering it like a spiderweb.
"You look tired." It said bluntly. Grace tries to create a fireball, all that appeared was a small Flame which flickered and died quickly. Pain was everywhere, she had never used that much Magic before and she could barley stand. The last thing she heard was the demon.
"Pathetic."
Then everything went black.
