Nightshade and Fern, along with the 2 baby dragons, entered the huge dragon library. The library had walls and walls of scrolls full of information on Dragons, Elves, Dwarves, trolls and information on other species, unknown to most dragons. There were many different sections of scrolls named after each species and another section of scrolls containing lose info, which was helpful when you don't know what you're looking for.
As Nightshade and Fern walked around to the lose info area, she spotted a light blue nightfury sitting by a tower of scrolls. The Nightfury looked so focused on reading the scroll, her head was literally buried in it.
"She seems pretty focused, lets not bother her" Fern suggested.
Nightshade completely ignored fern, walking forward before jumping onto the light blue dragons tail. The Nightfury jolted her head up in shook before turning her head to Nightshade.
"Why the hell would yo....oh it's you sis!" The nightfury said.
"What do you want?" she continued, asking Nightshade.
Fern just stood there confused as to why the dragon didn't attack Nightshade, until the dragon said, 'Oh it's you sis'.
"Wait.......so you're Blair?" Fern asked wandering forward.
"Yep, thats me!" Blair said enthusiastically.
"so thats why you didn't attack nightshade.....i was seriously confused. Any other dragon would have been crushed" fern explained under her breath.
"huh?" Blair asked tilting her head sideways.
"Never mind" Fern said.
"So sis, why did you disrupt my dragon study?" Blair asked.
"he"- she chuckled before continuing -"Sorry, so you know the three eggs that i brought back from the hunt?"
"Yeaahh, let me guess, they hatched and you want to know what breeds they are?..." Blair asked, guessing.
"Yeah, thats it!"- Nightshade replied -"see, these are the two that hatched"
The two baby dragons stepped forward as Blair crouched down to observe their faces. The blue one had watery type textures throughout its body, yellow eyes and had four legs with two wings, while the multi-coloured one had orange eyes, rainbow feathered wings, small horns on its squarish head two legs, two wings and a long tail emitting a reddish shadow.
Blair looked up and explained, "Ok so, the blue one is a colossal dragon, and the rainbow one seems to be the creature named 'The Claw'!"
"Wow, you took the creature study seriously!" Fern exclaimed.
"Well what did you expect, i'm part of the royal bloodline after all" Blair bragged.
