If only My Thoughts had an
...Off Switch..
I would have caught
Some sleep
...Without crying for it...
If only My Heart could be
...Shut-down...
I wouldn't have cried
Falling to the ground
...In pieces...
If only some painful memories of mine
...Could be Deleted...
I wouldn't have to get flashbacks
Of wars in which I was brutally defeated
...In which my enemy was me...
If only I could
...Discard my feelings...
I wouldn't have cried after my close ones left me
And some how stopped my heart's internal bleeding
...But maybe I'd lose myself...
