"DEE!!" Was the first thing Remy heard as soon as he got home It was 4 am what the hell were they doing up so early or late? Remy entered the house and heard something smash from the direction of the kitchen

He quickly entered the kitchen to see an upset dee sitting on the kitchen counter two smashed plates on the floor and Remus who struggled to find a broom while comforting dee "what the fuck happened-" "um just a minor uh accident?" Remus replied quickly but it sounded more like a question "I-am sowwy" dee hiccuped as he whipped his eyes

Remy furrowed his eyebrows then looked at dee and sighed "can you tell my what happened here?" dee nodded as Remus groaned "mus was asleep and I was hungry so I went to get bickies for me" dee mumbled feeling guilty Remy nodded "thank you for telling me" he helped dee down "ok can you go and play with some of your stuffies while I make you something to eat?" Dee nodded and walked out of the kitchen but stayed by the door curiously

Remy turned to Remus "what the hell were you doing letting him climb the shelves?" "I didn't LET him do anything! It was an accident!" "Well if you were awake it would've happened" "it's like 3 am Remy-" "4" "-do you really expect me to be up this early!?" "Yes, I do you literally never sleep!"

"Well, Maybe I wanted to sleep for once" Remy rolled his eyes "did you not even bother to tell him to wake you up for things like that?" "I didn't think I needed to.."

They continued to argue as dee listened from the other side of the door tears began to wheel up in his eyes they were arguing about him again. He held himself he knew this was all his fault he knew he shouldn't have told them anything he didn't want to upset them anymore he didn't want to be what made them yell all the time he hated it when he was yelled at but seeing them fight about felt equally

So he left.

The only thing he took with him was his favourite stuffie he didn't know where he'd go but he ended up in the light sides kitchen it was bright he pulled down his hat more to help shield his eyes

"Deceit!" He jumped at hearing the other yelling his name he didn't expect anyone to be up so early like him "..why are you here" they asked hesitantly. Dee store across the room at them tears dripped down his face "I-I.." he mumbled scared

"Hey now.." they came over quickly and gave him a careful and hesitant hug "are you ok" he spoke softly. Dee was surprised but hugged back silently sniffling

He rubbed the snakes back trying to reassure him "um...do you wanna talk about what happened?" Dee shook his head looking up at Patton slightly being the shortest out of all the sides "well..if ur sure about that" "s-sowwy pat" dee mumbled Patton looked surprised for a moment deceit baby talk? Why?

Patton shook his head he'd worry about that later right now someone was an upset and bad guy or not he was gonna help them out he'd do it with anyone except for probably Remus "it's ok to not want to talk about things sometimes....you want something to eat I was gonna make myself a quick sandwich" Patton smiled softly at deceit

Dee sniffled and nodded quietly. he watched Patton grab the stuff he needed to make two crofter jam-filled sandwiches he was surprised about how kind Patton was towards he smiled wiping his eyes hugging his plushie and sitting down

maybe leaving the dark sides was really the best thing to do? he couldn't abandon them like Virgil did tho he'd go back at some point...not for a while tho if he could manage that

sorry this was short guys I should have worked on it more to fit more stuff in but right now is hard and I didn't want to delay it any longer. I hope the chapter turned out ok
