"We should go back inside," Draco said and helped me to my feet.
We walked up to the castle in silence and the quiet but lively corridors until we reached the gloomy face of Professor Snape.
"Well, well, well, aren't you two just wonderful friends now," Snape said. A smirk painted on his old face.
"Why thank you sir. Pensieve, " I said sarcastically.
"My pleasure," he let the door swing open. We stepped inside and Draco turned to face me
"Are you sure you're alright?" He asked.
"Yeah. I think I'm just going to sleep for a bit," I said, putting on a weak smile.
"Call me if you need anything. Should I wake you for dinner?"
"Please. Otherwise I'll sleep forever. Thank you," I said before we both turned around and entered our rooms. I closed my door, untied my shoes and climbed into bed. I pulled the blanket over my head, not caring about the rest of the world for the time being.
The pain at the time of my fathers death was unbearable but I had learnt to deal with it. I just ignored it for a while, pushing it down so far that I was numb even when the topic was brought up. Until now.
I cried until I finally fell asleep, only to be woken up by knocking on my door. Three knocks. I was so drained that I didn't even react. The door was opened and I felt the side of the bed sink ever so slightly, which indicated that Draco had sat down next to me. Slowly the blanket was pulled off from over my head to just under my neck and he gently put his hand on my arm. My eyes took a moment to open but, once they did, I saw him tilting his head to look at me in the eyes.
"Hey, sorry to wake you," his head was still tilted.
"No, it's okay but I don't think I want to go down to dinner. I'm not hungry," I said, getting up into a sitting position.
"You have to eat something," he said, repeating the words that I once said to him.
"But I really don-" I started, but was cut off.
He smiled and said, "Nuh uh uh. You have to eat something. Okay, let's make a deal?"
"What kind of deal?" I asked, curiously.
"After you eat, you don't have to go to the Great Hall if you don't want to, I will take you to my favorite place in Hogwarts. Is that a deal?" He held out his hand for me to shake.
I thought about it for a moment and it seemed like a pretty good deal. My curiosity played an important part in my decision.
"That's a deal," I said, shaking his outstretched hand.
I got out of bed and walked out of my room, towards the fridge, picturing a bacon and feta pizza. I stopped before opening the fridge.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked Draco.
"Hm," he took a moment, "I think I'll have some roast chicken and potatoes please."
I turned my back on him, pictured our order and when I opened the fridge, the food was right there, piping hot.
"It smells so good," I said as I pulled the food out of the fridge. I opened my box to find the most delicious looking pizza with just enough toppings and the cheese melted just right.
"Here's yours," I handed his to him and we made our way to our separate couches that we usually sat on. I was the first to take a bite and once I did, I couldn't stop. It was like I had a pizza addiction.
"God, this is so good," Draco said after finishing half of his meal already.
Between bites of pizza, I managed to get some words out, "so what's your favorite thing to do?"
