Nico's pov

I woke up later that day around supper time. My body ached from falling asleep in that corner. I slowly got up and stretched out the knots in my long frail body until they were gone. I should go for supper I thought. Just as I was about I leave I grabbed a sweater from my hook because I new my friends would kill me if they new I had self harmed. But really, what other choice dos I have. There is no one to talk to, no one to listen. My heart hurts as a slides how of Will play through my head. When I enter the mess hall everyone is quite. I make my way over to the table with my friends. Ever since the war with Gaea the seven and I have gotten to sit together for support reasons. anyways as soon as I say down the low chatter resumed.
"Hey nico!" a familiar voice says. I turn my head to my left to see Percy who had just spoken to me.
"Hi." I mumble so I could barley be heard.
The conversation went on around him. The only time he stopped to listen was when Chiron waked - er... Trotted into the room.
"Attention Campers!" he yelled
" I understand that one of the campers from the appolo cabin has gone missing. We shall issue a quest to find him. Do we have any volunteers?"
My body shot up before my brain could say yes.
"I volunteer!" I half yelled
The whole camp was silent. Jason and Percy stood up.
"So do we!" they said in total unison.
"That settles it then. Percy, Jason and Nico will leave in the morning in their search for Will Solace."
After dinner I began to file out of the mess hall and started to make my way to the hades cabin. it wasn't long before Percy and Jason caught up with me.
"Hey man!" Percy said. "What time are we leaving tomorrow?"
"Um... around 6:00 am. Chiron says I have to go see the oracle tonight for a prophecy."
"Oh that sucks. The oracle gives me the creeps." Jason said dramatically. They parted away as the conversation died. I opened the door to the hades cabin and flopped down on the bed. I was emotionally exhausted and didn't want to deal with anything else today. I closed my eyes and drifted off into a rare but comfortable sleep.
